When I walked in, it looked like they had already started cleaning everything up, so I asked if they were still open. The guy at the counter just said, “Sorry boss, we close at 8:30.” I totally understand places have closing times, but if you close at 8:30, that’s what should be posted online. Pretty frustrating to make the trip thinking you have 40 minutes before closing just to be turned away.

I recently ordered 35 minutes before closing and my order was accepted. Upon arriving at the location it was closed and my order had been refunded. I arrived today at 1.5 hours before posted hours and it was closed. I give up as I'm tired of wasting my time guessing when this place is actually open. Staff is nice and quick when the place is actually open but if I want to gamble instead of a sandwich...I'll go to a casino. Not dependable or predictable.

I brought a client in today and once again had a fantastic experience. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap combo, and it was excellent—fresh, flavorful, filling, and an amazing value for the quality and portion. The sandwiches and wraps here are consistently great, service is quick, and everything is always fresh. A big part of what makes this location stand out is owner Brian Murphy. Brian genuinely cares about his customers, provides excellent service, and takes pride in delivering a great experience and great value. That personal involvement makes a difference and is one of the reasons I continue coming back. For anyone in Palm Desert or the surrounding Coachella Valley looking for a quick, fresh, affordable lunch, I highly recommend this Jimmy John’s location. It's especially convenient for business lunches, catering, or grabbing sandwiches and wraps to bring into an office.
