This is cafeteria style service but I dare say has better service than many full service restaurants. Staff were friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable. Food was outstanding, The Rainbow Trout was incredible and I loved the Baja Fish Tacos. Lots of specials and great value. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!!!
- MMM MJun 22, 20261.0I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience here was disappointing enough to warrant one star, primarily because of the poor service. We visited on a Saturday, and while there were only two servers working, the restaurant was not particularly busy. After being seated, we waited more than seven minutes before our server even acknowledged us or came to take our drink order. At that point, we were already considering leaving, but decided to give the restaurant a second chance. Once our drinks finally arrived, the service continued to be lacking. Our server never asked if we wanted appetizers, which we actually did. Throughout the meal, we felt like we had to constantly track him down just to get basic service. Whether it was placing an order, requesting refills, or asking for anything else, he was rarely available. His attitude also came across as unfriendly and uninterested, making us feel more like an inconvenience than paying customers. Eventually, we started asking the other server for assistance because our own server was nowhere to be found most of the time. The atmosphere didn't help the experience either. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our meal. A comfortable dining environment is important, especially when you're paying premium prices. As for the food, it was fresh and tasted decent, which is the only positive aspect of our visit. However, the prices were extremely hard to justify. Paying nearly $40 for a plate of linguini with only a few shrimp is excessive, especially when paired with poor service and an uncomfortable dining environment. Overall, between the inattentive service, unfriendly attitude, uncomfortable atmosphere, and overpriced menu, this was not a dining experience I would recommend. Unfortunately, we left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
