- FFFewdiepie23Jun 29, 20261.0Ordered a Pollo Bowl in the drive through. Ate it with the avocado salsa and it was fine. Then halfway through my bowl I add the pico and it was NASTY. I’ve worked in pollo loco when I was 21 in Los Angeles. We had one of the best stores in the district. The pico de gallo was definitely old and not FIFO’d. Either they’re throwing the packaged salsas in one container and using it for drive thru and adding more 2oz salsa ramikens to it. It was terrible. I couldn’t finish my food. I drove back to the store and let the manager know that it was gross. She kept saying “we make salsa fresh”. No accountability whatsoever. Yes, I KNOW you make salsa fresh but your batches are either getting mixed or your produce is terrible. And the salsa might not be getting rotated as it should. Without even apologizing she gave me a pollo bowl with avocado. Which isn’t what I asked for. The manager needs to chill with her power trip and take accountability of the rancid food. If this is how they smooth over salsa, I can only imagine the rest of the food. Also, if you don’t care much to hear about a customers opinion and actually look into it as a supervisor should—-then maybe you shouldn’t be in that position.
