What can you say, it’s the prettiest view from a Taco Bell I’ve ever seen! Food was good, drinks were good, bartender was cool and the view was killer. One star removed for general upkeep of the facility.

Amazing location! Beautiful views, its def busy but you can order and take it to go or eat on the beach. Theres even a walk up window for surfers. Its the first Taco Bell I have seen that serves alcohol and drinks. Very beachy experience. Staff is friendly, they are busy, but wait times aren't bad.
Horrible wait time. I ordered with my friend, I got a single Crunchwrap and he got a 4 course meal. He finished his entire meal before I got my singular Crunchwrap. It took 25 minutes. People who got me 10 minutes after me got their order before me. And when I got my order, they forgot the verde sauce I paid extra for. Last, THE CRUNCHWRAP BARELY HAS MEAT IN IT. CRUMBS AND A TRACE OF MEAT. Worst Taco Bell by far. 0/10
The drinks are the first clue that this is not your average Taco Bell. At the legendary beachfront Taco Bell Cantina Cantina in Pacifica, the surprise comes not from the tacos but from the sight of beachgoers sipping boozy Baja Blast-style “Twisted Freezes” with tequila, vodka, or rum while staring straight out at the Pacific Ocean. There is even a separate bar area inside the cantina — one of the oddest and somehow most perfect California combinations ever invented: fast food, surf culture, neon slush cocktails, and sea air.
The menu itself looked mostly standard Taco Bell fare — Crunchwraps, burritos, tacos, nachos — but honestly, nobody drives Highway 1 for culinary revelation here. The real attraction is the setting. This may be the only Taco Bell where your meal comes with rolling surf, gulls overhead, wetsuits dripping near the entrance, and one of the great low-cost ocean views in Northern California. The restaurant sits just steps from Linda Mar Beach, close enough that the sound of the breakers almost competes with the soda machine.
Architecturally, the place feels more like an old California beach shack or a mellow surf lodge than a chain fast-food outlet. The wraparound windows, outdoor seating, and casual oceanfront energy give it a strange accidental magic. You half expect Brian Wilson to wander in carrying a surfboard and ordering cinnamon twists.
And yes, the food is still Taco Bell. But this Taco Bell has something no other location can franchise: atmosphere. On a sunny afternoon with the Pacific glowing outside the windows and a cold twisted freeze in hand, even a humble taco combo starts feeling like part of the California dream.

I am extremely disappointed by the experience my family had at this Taco Bell location My 3-year-old son asked for a water cup, and the employee responded by saying "no" before speaking to a coworker in Spanish, stating, "That's all they do is ask for cups," followed by a comment about my son being Black.
What made this even more upsetting was that these remarks were directed toward a toddler. When my aunt confronted the employee and made it clear she understood what he was saying, he switched to English and admitted he understood English as well. Instead of apologizing or showing professionalism, he continued making disrespectful comments, assuming we were trying to get free soda simply because my son asked for a water cup.
This was our first time visiting this location, and no child should ever be stereotyped or judged in that way. My son is mixed race, and hearing racially insensitive remarks directed toward him was unacceptable. As we were leaving, the employee also verbally insulted my aunt, which only escalated the situation further.
What is especially concerning is that this individual identified himself as the manager, yet refused to provide his name or corporate contact information when requested. Thankfully, we were able to take a photo of the individual involved.
This experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and deeply troubling. I hope Taco Bell takes situations like this seriously and addresses the behavior appropriately. Until then, I cannot recommend supporting this location
