  I’ve been coming here regularly for my roast beef sandwich large size in the deli department and I don’t usually make a bad comment or review on any businesses but this is going out of hand. This staff in the deli named Amy is always having an attitude and rude from the very first time when she serves me with the order. This time the experience is really getting out of hand. I ordered the usual roast beef but the only bread they have is sourdough which is not my preference but I guess it’s just ok. Their sourdough bread size is the small portion size so I mentioned I need a large size but then only made one but I reconfirmed to her that large size is what I want coz I always share the other half to my wife and she nodded. But when she started wrapping it up, I again mentioned that I needed the large so I think she should do the other halve of the bread and she said we have only the half and then I explained to her that since it has only one prepared serving of roast beef on the first one she reluctantly did the second one. Now when I was asked what else do I need I just said “ lettuce, onion, tomato just 3 things”. I mentioned 3 things at least she knows. But wrapping up both halves of the sandwiches good thing I noticed on the second sandwich she didn’t put tomatoes on it ( I missed to notice it on the first one) so I kindly reminded her for it and to check the first one which indeed missing some tomatoes. All of this interaction with her is a sense for me that she doesn’t want to be there like she was just forced to work somehow, and for me I was respectful always with all the “please” and “thank you” after each sentences. I always think that maybe she just had a bad day but then again it’s been the same attitude everytime I go there. Oh also I mentioned my spread preference would be Chipotle and Mayo but put in Chipotle and mustard and I got her attention on that and she just said ok and continue doing her thing until I said I really don’t like mustard and throw the bread in a waste bin with an attitude not suited for a staff in a service industry.

  Deborah is always nice. I have been seeing her since the Bay st for many years now. Still same hands and same heart! I realized when she helped me with the water bottles. *I know this lady!* I noticed her hands and sensed who she was. Remark: Safeway really look after their senior employees in a special way. Deborah is a perfect example. She can definitely help model and train the younger workers!

  Not sure how anyone has anything nice to say about this Safeway. They only ever have 3 self checkouts and one staffed register. It’s 3 o’clock on a Sunday and the lines are down the isles! Horrible

  This is a good Safeway but idk why one of the reviewers said theres a pharmacy here when there's not. Don't go here if you need a pharmacy lol

  I have plenty of time to type out this review as I wait in a line for the self checkout that's halfway down the aisle behind it. Safeway - hire more cashiers. Everyone else - don't waste your time with this store.
