rating the pancakes I ordered, looked very undercooked, they were falling apart, I told two of the staff members and they never offered to swap or remake them.
Take Ur Seat Too is Take Ur Seat's second location...see what they did there with the naming convention?? The OG opened in Chino Hills back in 2018. The restaurant is a popular breakfast and brunch spot that I'd highly recommend visiting if you're in the area. I had the opportunity to try the Spam Musubi, Strawberry Cheesecake Cloud Pancake, Belly 2 Belly Rice and Longanisa Rice Bowl. I am thankful for the variety in their menu, appreciative of the service, and I absolutely loved the food! Only negative was I signed up for their Yelp waitlist when we were 10 minutes out and we still had to wait another 45 minutes upon arrival. That's how it goes when your restaurant is in such high demand!

this was delicious! i went with my parents and a cousin and we got the curry, pork belly, kimchi fried rice, and avocado toast and after trying all of them, i can confirm that everything tastes great!! so glad i had the time to stop here because the food taste heavenly. the matcha in the photo is one of the best ones ive had, and much better than many others i’ve had. overall amazing!
Honestly one of the worst experiences I had here.
We were seated and our order was taken. We had the belly 2 belly (requested onions on the side, girlfriend doesnt not like onions), spam musubi, mimosa flight and the cloud pancakes.
We were told the pancakes were going to take 30 mins to make, which was understandable. We got our other foods first - spam musubi was good, belly 2 belly is always a hit, mimosa flight was great, cloud pancakes? Non existent. They never came out. A different server said they were coming soon, never showed up. Two tables to our left? We ordered before them and theirs showed up with all their other foods. Table to our right? Got their pancakes as well - all looked really tasty but we never got to try even though we ordered before all of them.
Our server that took our order? Lol..filled water once, walked by us maybe 5-6 times, never checked though he did on the other tables surrounding us. Girlfriend made eye contact, he just walked by with no intent of helping us.
Hostess in the front was amazing and was very helpful.
Saturday May 16, 2016 - 11:16am - 12:00pm whoever was serving table 8 - your service is the reason we are not coming back. It sucks because the food is great, hostess always welcoming, but today..you sir..were an absolute abomination to us due to the service.

I wanted bacon. But I also wanted fluffy pancakes. And our family needed to go grocery shopping. As a happy medium, I suggested brunch first and then shopping. We found Take Ur Seat Too which seemed to share my Filipino roots. I knew I wanted to try this place as soon as I saw seasonal ube cloud pancakes.
Our table was ready within five minutes despite us being a party of five. The restaurant itself was quaint with a pastry/drink section and a dining area. It was a bit small but they did a great job of decorating the place to be upscale.
We were given menus to browse but noticed that the ube pancakes were no longer available. I was still interested in their monthly special which was Cap'n Crunch cloud pancakes. My wife opted for kimchi omelette; the kids the berry good cloud pancake (and belly 2 belly rice bowl in case the wait for the soufflé was too long); and the rendaaaang curry bowl for my brother. My wife also accidentally ordered a citrus shred, an ale with lime and calamansi juice.
Unfortunately, this place was just for the gram. While the food looked amazing, the taste was average. For example, the rendaaaang curry was supposed to be rendang beef curry but it tasted sweet for some reason. The kimchi omelette was not anything special. The cloud pancakes were fluffy and airy but eating too much was monotonous. That left the belly 2 belly rice bowl which was the only decent thing we had; the pork cubes were crunchy and flavorful with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg and a side of water spinach.
I don't think we'll be coming here anytime soon unless our kids request soufflé pancakes.
