I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt it was necessary.
We ordered a slice of cake, and our waiter told us it would only take about 5 minutes. That seemed reasonable, so I waited near the counter. About 28 minutes later, I watched the staff place my order on the counter, yet no one bothered to hand it to me or even acknowledge that I had been standing there waiting the entire time.
Not only did it take over five times longer than what we were told, but the lack of attention and basic customer service made the experience even worse. A simple “Your order is ready” or handing me the plate while I was standing right there would have taken seconds.
Waiting nearly half an hour for a single slice of cake—after being told it would be 5 minutes—is unacceptable. The poor communication and complete disregard for customers left a terrible impression. I won’t be coming back, and I definitely can’t recommend this restaurant based on the service we received.

We're locals so have dined with Piper several times. Only once or twice before for dinner. Dinner was sub par. Editable but WAY overpriced for what you get. Sea Bass tasted like dirt, literally. All 3 of us at the table agreed. We swallowed it down with help of other flavors because after waiting 45 minutes for our food and our server no where to be found for the 3rd time we eat or go hungry. When we finally did see our server again we had finished our meal. Told her of the off putting flavor. Was told manager would come talk to us but never did. Wasn't compensated in any way. We thought maybe fish wasn't washed properly or maybe an unusual flavor profile?
I've never been happy with my dinner meals nor anyone in the patkes with me. Safe to say definitely WON'T return for dinner.
Also, your servers and service need A LOT of work. This is a upper class establishment and this service was just horrible. Breakfast is good. Bar area is beautiful but not well employed. They really need to fix this place. Has so much potential...

We dined at Piper for the first time this past weekend and it was extremely disappointing!! The service was painfully slow and it seemed like our server had an agenda of her own telling us how great the restaurant was but unfortunately they could not deliver that, at all!
After ordering drinks and waiting around 20 minutes, I asked for them twice and for some reason both the muse buche and appetizer got to the table before our drinks. Finally they came but then the entrees were delivered and we were left without a fork to eat it! The server wasn't anywhere to be found but luckily I had already noticed the drawer they keep them in so we helped ourselves to silverware!! My lamb dish was okay but not real satisfying, so I just ate 1/2. My friends enjoyed their food very much but were also frustrated with our server disappearing repeatedly and hunting down some help! Like after a second round of drinks were ordered and the long wait for them transpired again.
The experience worsened when the bill came and we simply wanted to spilt it in half, putting 2 cards on the table and they came back with the credit cards being charged different amounts that exceeded the original bill! I asked for the manager and noticed her trying to help the server correct their computer system but sadly the manager returned with another incorrect bill and no apologies!
And last but not least, the ambiance they tried so hard to obtain but missed the mark by leaving their doors wide open to have to listen the the neighbors music, cars and barking dogs and smell car exhaust on their busy street! We will never go back and just had to warn others about the possibility of a terrible experience at Piper restaurant.

I had high expectations for this restaurant and left slightly disappointed. I ordered the chorizo and poblano pepper dish, and unfortunately it lacked flavor. The potatoes, however, were delicious, and the green hot sauce was excellent.
On the positive side, the green juice and cappuccino were both very good. The highlight of the experience was the service—it was exceptional, friendly, and attentive. While my main dish didn't meet my expectations, the excellent service and quality of the drinks made for an overall good experience.
I would be willing to come back and try other menu items because the service was outstanding, and I would like to see if other dishes better match the high expectations I had going in.

Really enjoyed eating here! The food tasted fresh, and I liked that they use locally sourced ingredients. Everything we ordered was delicious, and you could tell the quality was great without it feeling too fancy.
We tried the crab cake Benedict, steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, and the Dubai chocolate latte. Everything was flavorful, and the portions were satisfying. The kids also enjoyed the waffles, pancakes, and yogurt with fruit.
The staff were friendly, and the restaurant had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. It was also super convenient since it’s in the same building where we were staying, making it an easy choice for breakfast. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again.
