  Joe's has always been a favorite for me and my family. Sea food is great, burger...so so. Drinks are good, service is sweet. Not what it use to be, as they don't give you any dessert for a birthday and they don't do there music or dances anymore and that really brought people there. But overall a good choice.

  What a fun family experience - and delicious food to boot! Brody our server was beyond amazing - seriously! The food was well portioned - my shrimp boil could have definitely been a two person meal! The kids loved their food and my mom truly enjoyed her clam chowder. We were seated next to the window overlooking the marina. Got seated immediately on a Saturday night - around 5:30pm for a party of 5. Brody was attentive and wonderful. We had a major spill and he came over to take care of it immediately without even losing his smile. He then checked in on my son and got him a new drink (the shark nibble) promptly. Would highly recommend! It’s definitely a more kitschy experience, but fun and worth while! And delicious!!!

  First of all this place is lit, but omg JORDAN the server. BEST SERVER EVER. He’s well versed on the menu, recommended us the best boil and helped us out since it was our first time. He’s genuinely so good at his job and truly made it a great experience. Go here and ask for JORDAN!!!

  I’ve been to Joe’s many times. The service and food use to be excellent. The last few times I’ve gone the service has been slow, even when there aren’t a lot of people. The service is hit and miss. But most of all the food is horrible. Dry, unseasoned. The crab legs are so small you nearly get anything out of them. Yet the price continues to increase. Today I ordered the everything crab meal it was dry the pasta was hard, the crab cakes burned and the meat in the crab none existent. I keep going back because I’m hoping for improvement but I am finally done. I hope you can get it tofu.

  Another beautiful sunny day in San Diego led me to take a spontaneous trip to Oceanside for seafood at Joe’s Crab Shack. I definitely enjoyed my experience. The waitress , Maria, was very helpful, professional, and kind, which made everything even better. I ordered the seafood boil, and it was amazing. Next time, though, I think I’ll stick to just the garlic butter instead of mixing flavors. I was able to make a reservation pretty quickly through OpenTable since I wasn’t sure how crowded it would be. Once I arrived, I was seated right away and received my food pretty fast. I also had a great table with a beautiful view overlooking the water, which I loved. One fun bonus was getting to keep a souvenir cup from a mocktail I ordered—that was a really nice touch. After eating, I went downstairs and had some fun taking pictures in the photo booth. It’s such a perfect idea if you’re visiting with family or friends and want to capture the moment. I’ll definitely be back, especially since they no longer have a location in San Diego. The only downside was parking—it was a bit challenging, though that could have been because it was my first time in the area. It does seem to get pretty crowded.
