  Went for lunch today for something quick and was pleasantly surprised by Eris remodeling! New paint, table setup and the same great food and service. Saw Scott the owner and he recommended the Carne Asada bowl. Came out extremely fast and was just what I needed to power through a busy Friday. 10/10 recommend for delicious food, great service and enriched atmosphere! Best plant-based spot in Oceanside!

  Eris food co. is a major go to for any vegan, offering high quality meals and ingredients this place is unrivaled by any other vegan restaurants, I've been vegan for four years and never found a better place than eris, the environment is so chill and relaxed it feels like sitting at home and the owner Scott is a very pleasant and kind person to meet on any day. Eris food co. should be a staple for any vegan looking for high quality food. Chikun buffalo pizza is of the charts!! From Dean

  My wife and I have been sampling all the great vegan dishes at Eris for a few months now. They are all so good we really have a hard time deciding which to choose when we stop in. Over the weekend, we had one of the tasty pizzas for the first time. Now that's some good eating. The owner is devoted to serving his customers and is around to help or offer suggestions. The restaurant interior is always getting more interesting with each new item that gets added to the laidback decor, while the outside has just got a fresh new coat of paint. Downright spiffy if you ask me. Do yourself a favor and check Eris out. A bistro for the ages.

  I called in my to go order 15 minutes before arriving and had to wait another almost 30 minutes before it was passed to me. .. AFTER I had to stare at a box that I hoped wasnt my order, finally, sitting on the counter while the server took care of everybody else... And then tried to tell me, I had not been inside, waiting when I had been in and out so many times I should've had a revolving door. It's not right to blame the customer.. however, the Ruben I had saved everything. It was the most incredible Ruben I've ever had. It was not hot and neither were my fries. And that was a real disappointment. But the sandwich was amazing. I don't know why.It always seems like the best places have the worst customer service.He was very busy and all by himself.So I do understand he had a lot of pressure, but I don't think it's on the customers to suffer because enough people are not staffed.He mentioned several times it was the busiest day of the week on a tuesday. I just wanted to eat within a reasonable amount of time from placing my order. This was my first visit.I also had difficulty locating the place because there was not a name sign out front. I hate to sound like nothing but a complainer, but it just seems like customer service has disappeared entirely.💜❤️🩵🩷💙🧡💚💛💜💚❤️🩵💙💚💛well....... after I left my review yesterday, I ordered again and was extremely surprised and pleased with the the owner Scott, having already seen and responded to my cranky review, went out of his way to make things right and make sure I left happy! While a little embarrassed by being called out for my review, I left very happy that great customer service still lives! My reuben sandwich was amazing again! I even tried the ketchup in my HOT fries! I never have liked ketchup in my 60 plus years.This should not even be called ketchup.It was so incredibly delicious.I couldn't stop myself on the way home and devoured every fry in the box! In addition, Scott hooked me up with a fresh piece of lemon berry cake, not knowing lemon is my favorite and it was absolutely amazing as well. I definitely will be a repeat customer in the future. And a mouthpiece for this busines. As a native of Oceanside, I am proud to recommend this place to my friends and family from all over! Scott, thank you for everything you did.You really made a difference.I see why you are successful.Besides the amazing menu you make from scratch! I can't wait to come back and try to tacos! P.s. I just love the environment. It is so comfortable and casual! Thank you so much for making things right! You are much appreciated, especially in a world that just doesn't seem to really care about customer service anymore. See you next time!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve visited Eris Food Co twice now, and after my second meal, I can confidently say this place is exceptional. I’m not a local, and I’m not vegan. I’m simply a food connoisseur who appreciates incredible flavors, quality ingredients, and chefs who know how to bring a dish to life. Eris Food Co delivers on all of that. My first visit was the Carne Asada Bowl with the Lavender Lemonade Hibiscus—fresh, vibrant, and packed with layers of flavor. Today, after breaking my fast, I had the Sunday special, the Chikun Parm, paired with a hot tea. Once again, every bite exceeded expectations. The flavors are bold, balanced, and memorable, proving that great food speaks for itself regardless of the label attached to it. Scott, thank you for creating something truly special. Your passion for food, commitment to quality, and attention to detail are evident in every plate. You’ve created a restaurant that welcomes everyone—not just those seeking plant-based cuisine, but anyone who genuinely loves outstanding food.
