  Fantastic fish. A next-level destination fish source. The small neighborhood is saturated with sushi restaurants, so they're never packed on Saturday nights. Great deal. Lyft in, indulge in a lot of sake and fish, Lyft out. Perfect night.

  Last night we ordered sushi to go and it was excellent. When we eat in, it’s always fresh and delicious but this take out was as well.

  This is my new favorite japanese spot. It’s on the nicer side, great for a date night or a celebration. The food is delicious, from appetizers to mains and rolls to desserts. We’ll be coming back for sure!

  The food was just okay and definitely not worth the price. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order, which already made the experience frustrating. We ordered the premium omakase ($64 for 10 pieces of sashimi), but it was not even cut in proper sashimi style, which was very disappointing. At that price point, you would expect much better quality and presentation. We also ordered the beef short rib, which was very salty and quite tough. For a group of three, the total came close to $200, and none of us are big eaters. The portions were small and the taste overall was nothing impressive. Overall, the experience did not live up to expectations. There are definitely better options for the same price.

  We’ve moved to the area and have been looking for a local sushi spot that’s in east bay and would definitely recommend this place. We made a reservation and were seated right away. The restaurant was not busy when we went ( 6pm) but as the evening progressed it filled up ( it’s a cozy spot, so seating is limited) but never felt cramped. We ordered the shishito peppers that were probably some of the best I’ve had, ever albite spicy! The tangy, citrus, roasted goodness topped with generous lashings of bonito… YES PLEASE! We order 4 types of sashimi, 5 pcs each. Kampachi, toro, yellowtail and salmon. All super fresh, and well cut for the portions. Ordered 5 rolls ( 4 pictured) Lion king Warrior roll Kakui/ Naruto roll ( not on menu) Spicy tuna Cali roll. The outstanding rolls were the Lion king, warrior and kakui. Service was quick, the head sushi chef knew what he was doing, and the service was on point! Definitely recommend!
