  Came in earlier tonight and Cece girl done cheered me up with her smile and service. Suggested some food and drinks and they didn’t disappoint at all. She came and checked on us regularly. A1 service thanks

  I arrived with my uncle to this location and after 10 minutes of waiting with no staff or service to come to set us a menu and welcome us. We waited another 5 or 8 minutes before the manager came over to tell me that I have to leave and to get out. When I questioned him why or for a reason he gave me vague answers and was mainly dodging my questions by repeating his phrase "you need to get out". After a few back and forth questions my uncle told him "fine we are leaving, we are out of here" and we left feeling disappointed and incredibly disrespected by this manager Rashad. It was completely unprofessional and lack of customer service is not the way I would put how he approached and treated us as people.

  Table service is abysmal. Server never came to the table with myself and my kid even though we had a reservation and were checked in. We had at least three servers walk by our table without stopping. This is clearly a failure of floor leadership to figure out how to work with folks. The better service results in a higher check. I don’t get it.

  I went to Dave & Buster’s and was shocked by the service. We had a coupon that would’ve gotten me 100 coins if I purchased 100 coins specifically to be used at this Dave & Buster’s. The minimum you could purchase at the kiosk was 125, big whoop. And we got the eat & play. Cool. I wasn’t trippin. Then we went to a manager/supervisor to assist us with adding the 100 coins. He couldn’t give us the full 100 coins. We got 70 and he couldn’t honor the coupon we received. Extremely disappointing to hear that corporate and stores aren’t in communication on how to go about honoring their guests’ coupons — again specifically to be used at their location. Now to the eat portion. When we sat down, there was no clear communication on who our server was to take our order. We were sat for about 15 mins before we saw a server at another table. We flagged her down and she said she would help us after closing out the table she was at. She left and when she returned she skipped over us and went to another table that was seated after us. For over 40 mins, we could not place our order. We tried going to the bar and even there were so many other people trying to place an order in a line — they weren’t even seated at the bar. Probably because they didn’t have a server either. By an hour in, we had to approach the server behind the employee line to come help us. She finally did. We got our food and it was subpar at best. We didn’t get any napkins. Even after we asked the server, she came back with no napkins. I’m not expecting 5 star dining but it really did not live up to the hype of Dave and Buster’s. Selection of games were very minimal with a few out of order with a lack of signage stating such. But some were fun to play. I’m really disappointed at the experience here as they didn’t open too long ago and it was my first time there. I don’t think I will ever be back and will definitely not recommend it to other people. I’ll be going to Round1 in Hayward.

  We had a wonderful visit to Dave & Buster’s at Jack London Square, all thanks to Durran. My 8-year-old daughter was upset after losing her game card that still had credits on it. Durran immediately stepped in with genuine empathy, quickly problem-solved, and was able to locate the card number to transfer her balance onto a new card. ​His calm, attentive, and kind attitude turned what could have been a stressful moment into a great memory for our family. Durran is an exceptional addition to the team—Dave & Buster’s made a fantastic hire. Thank you, Durran! We will definitely be back soon.
