  Incredible VIP Treatment for My Son’s 2nd Birthday – Thank You, Rashad and Team! ​I cannot say enough amazing things about the team at Dave & Buster’s in Oakland. We recently brought our family in to celebrate my son’s 2nd birthday, and while we only had a standard, regular reservation, Rashad (the manager) and his entire staff went completely above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. ​From the moment we walked in, the level of hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care from Rashad and his crew blew us away. They checked in on us consistently, ensured our large group was well taken care of, and brought an incredible energy that made my son's milestone birthday truly unforgettable. ​In an industry where great customer service can sometimes be hard to find, Rashad and his team are a shining example of true hospitality and leadership. They didn't just accommodate our party; they made us feel valued and created core memories for our family. Corporate needs to recognize this incredible team—they are a massive asset to the Oakland location! We will definitely be back.

  Carlos was excellent! He took really great care of us. Was very attentive, professional, polite, and pleasant. Had a way better experience with him as our server compared to a previous event here.

  The service was good. Although the wait was a little long for our food. The food was hot and fresh. The ribs and chicken were seasoned well. And, the drinks were pretty refreshing. The ambience was nice as well.

  Needed to move to a booth because we had a toddler with us and we could lock her in if we had a booth. Even though the restaurant wasn't full and there were booths available, we were told we could not move. IMO, the staff was too lazy to help. We were willing to spend money on games, drinks and food - more importantly, we tip really well for good service. Customer service can break a restaurant, severely disappointed in the service we received at Dave and busters at Jack London square. On a positive note, there is excellent restaurant across the street that had incredible food and a great view, and their customer service is excellent!!!!! Was happy to tip the lady well who went above and beyond for us. Will definitely go back to seabreze by the dock, for a friendly smile, good food, and most importantly, the customer service i deserve for my hard earned money.

  Very disappointing experience at Dave & Buster’s Oakland. It’s unbelievable that during a major event like the FIFA Final, there were only 2 bartenders working the entire bar. The wait for drinks was extremely long, and despite seeing more than 5 empty tables, customers were not being seated. After waiting with no progress, my mother-in-law and I walked over to Plank to see if they had availability. We were seated immediately, our order was taken right away, and in less than 10 minutes our food and drinks were at the table. I texted my husband and father-in-law to leave Dave & Buster’s and join us because the service was night and day. Ironically, while we were already eating and enjoying our drinks at Plank, my husband received a text from Dave & Buster’s saying our table was finally ready. By then, it was far too late, we had already decided to spend our money somewhere that was organized and valued its customers’ time. For an event this big, Dave & Buster’s should have been much better prepared with adequate staffing and organization. Instead, we ended up taking our business elsewhere. Very disappointing.
