  There’s no morale or integrity in a store that treats its customers like the customers have no morals or integrity. If you bring your own bags, get ready to be patted down like you’re in an airport. If you put your own bag on the scale before scanning anything, it thinks you’re sneaking something into the scanned area without paying for it, so it freezes your progress until a worker comes to fix the machine. If you put your own bag in the scanned items area with your first scanned item, their ignorant surveillance software program freezes your progress until a worker finally comes over to watch the video of you, wasting more of your time. And their worker is highly likely to say something like, “Whoa! You see there! (As she points at the super blurry screen) What is that?? You put something over there without scanning it.” That’s literally what the woman working there said to me. I told her to just look and she finally looked over to the scanned items where I had one jug of scanned juice inside of my own bag. The third ignorant option is to scan and place all of your items in the scanned area and then (after already moving every single item one at a time) you have to move every individual item again into your bags. As a professional mover for over 18 years, people in my industry would get fired for being that inefficient. I have back problems from my line of work as it is, so I certainly don’t need to waste my energy or have my time wasted appeasing evil-seers in my off time. See no evil! And treat people with integrity! It is YOUR store’s integrity that we’re talking about after all. Just because your store gets ripped off because of its high prices, doesn’t mean the next person deserves to be treated how the actual thief does. I’ll never go to any Von’s store or any of its affiliated stores ever again.

  I want to give a huge shout out to Chris, the new supervisor at the Nipomo store. I recently moved from Oceano to Nipomo. After shopping at the Nipomo store I preferred to shop in Grover Beach where Chris was a manager and all the employees are wonderful. I was delighted when I saw Chris in Nipomo and is now the supervisor there. Chris was recently promoted to Nipomo. Since his arrival there I have noticed a huge, positive difference. It is now a pleasure to shop in Nipomo. Congratulations, Chris on your promotion and thank you for helping to make Nipomo a pleasure to shop at.

  Most stuff is great here but im fed up with these lame, flavorless, dried out, and rotten mandarins. Its ALWAYS the Peelz brand too. Cuties are absolute fire and rarely have a bad one. Peelz on the other hand are a waste of money and time.
