- HGHank GallegosJun 12, 20242.0I visited this restaurant to try and get some comfort food for my wife while she is hospitalized across the street at Hoag Newport. When I walked in to pick up my mobile order, I caught the staff members picking lettuce off of my sandwich with gloves covered in mustard and mayo (none of which was supposed to be on my sandwich). After I confronted them about that being unacceptable, they agreed to remake the sandwich. I noticed they only put 1/4 avocado on my footlong which was annoying but I didn’t want to continue arguing with them while they made my food. My sandwich wound up EXTREMELY salty to the point where I was unable to finish it. My wife’s sandwich did not have the spinach I had ordered and more importantly it did not have any avocado despite me paying extra to add it. I feel ripped off and this was probably the worst Subway experience I’ve ever had during a time in which I’m already stressed and struggling at the hospital.
