  Feels like a very special occasion kind of restaurant. It’s upstairs overlooking PCH and the ocean views. There didn’t seem to be a bad seat anywhere. Very bright and elegant dining interior space. My friends took me here for my birthday. Their menu has a wide array of selections. We made sure to try a little of everything. The highlight was definitely the lobster roll. Hope to return soon to try more of their menu.

  What a surprise to find this quality of a restaurant inside what is primarily a furniture store! Arrived on a Saturday at noon and it was PACKED. However, we were able to walk-in and get seated in about 30 min. Service was about a 7/10 but really only becaise it was busy. We were seated on the patio in direct sunlight (ended up getting uncomfortable towards end of meal) while there were other seats available. But the food more than made up for it. Excellent burger! My son had a lobster roll with a caviar topper (ridiculously priced sandwich), but it was absolutely delicious.

  Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the atmosphere and the expectations we had from the restaurant. We ordered both a steak and Wagyu, and unfortunately, the quality of both was poor. The Wagyu in particular was served cold, which was very disappointing. There was also an issue with the side dish. I asked if the fries could be replaced with mashed potatoes. Instead of simply replacing the fries, the mashed potatoes were brought as an additional side and charged separately, while the fries that were supposed to come with my dish were never served. So I was charged extra for the mashed potatoes and never received the fries that were included with my meal. The atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately, the food quality and the way this situation was handled really took away from the overall experience. For a restaurant at this level, we expected much better food quality and attention to detail.

  I'll start with the positives which was the decor and ambiance, and our 2 servers Kyle and Nick (Nick ended up taking over for the shift change.) Kyle was very nice, and Nick made the experience. He was genuinely patient and kind, and helped make my mom's birthday very special. Unfortunately 4 out of 5 of the drinks were very watered down -- you could literally taste the amount of water... I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it was very obvious. The food was mediocre and very overpriced. The real downfall was the green bean salad having a clump of dirt in it. I wasn't even going to say anything I was just not going to finish it. But as we were trying to figure out what it was, a female server asked if everything was OK, so we told her what we were looking at. She was very rude and condescending. She immediately grabbed the plate away and walked to another staff member pointing it out, then came back and said "lettuce sometimes turns brown" as if it was my first day on earth. Girl. Please. Browning lettuce isn't a clump that I can grab, that feels like dirt and smears like dirt. With all of the outbreaks happening right now, it's obvious that they don't properly wash their produce which is concerning. I understand some things can be missed, but this is supposed to be a very high end restaurant, and the attitude was very unnecessary. Thank you to Nick for trying to make up the experience by bringing out an array of desserts! Again we didn't want to say anything because we were so grateful, but one of our cookies had a hair baked into it. I can't even say I would come back here for drinks and the view. Maybe dessert? Without the hair. Anyway it was an experience to say the least. Nick and Kyle find a better place, you deserve it.
