  We absolutely love eating at Mastro's Ocean Club in Newport Coast!! The staff is awesome and the food is OUTSTANDING! We recommend it to everyone we know!

  I visited on Saturday after hearing so many great things about this place. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I really enjoyed the overall vibe. We only ordered drinks, but unfortunately they were really bad..honestly some of the worst I've had. After that, I was going to order food, but the drinks were so disappointing that I decided not to because I was worried the food would be the same. I really hope it was just an off day because I'd like to come back and give the place another chance.

  Had dinner at Mastro's in Newport Beach recently and got severe food poisoning. I was very sick for 2 days and have never experienced anything like it. Please stay away 8f you value your health and safety.

  Used my new credit card here on 7/8, next day I had a bunch of unauthorized charges for $2K. Thanks for stealing my information and money! As some background, I received a new credit card in early July. I activated it before going to Mastros; sticker saying to activate the card was still on the card itself when I paid. I had used the card only for subscriptions and other recurring items (just to make sure the card worked). But funnily enough, right after I go to Mastros (who are the only people besides myself to physically hold my credit card information), I get 2 fraudulent charges for 2K. Also spelled my dad’s name wrong on his birthday menu. We also waited 1 hour for the food, and another 1 hour + for the bill. All that waiting just to copy my credit card information afterwards and try to steal from me. Shawn also was extremely disinterested in hearing my story. Thanks, great team effort on your part

  My significant other and I stopped by to celebrate our anniversary, and Devon made the entire experience unforgettable. He was incredibly attentive, personable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. His positive energy and exceptional service made our evening even more special. Mastro’s is fortunate to have someone like him on the team, he’s the kind of employee every restaurant hopes to have. We’ll definitely be back because of him!
