  Wife and I visiting son in Ventura and he took us here for lunch after hiking. Extensive menu and good service from the beginning. I got the giant Rueben sandwich and my got the tu a melt. Both were excellent. Tons of pastrami and corn beef. Everything was good, and we will be back when we visit again.

  One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. I eat out often but this place has the best wait staff of all time. My boyfriend ordered a pastrami Reuben but forgot to order it without sauerkraut, and Mary, our server, went above and beyond to make sure he got his order without sauerkraut. She made our experience so awesome and she was incredibly funny the entire time. I don’t even think it was intentional, she’s just naturally funny.

  Tried Pickles Deli Restaurant & Catering and had a really good experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and nicely portioned—classic deli-style comfort food done well. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe and the staff were friendly and attentive. Great spot for sandwiches, quick bites, or catering needs

  Ordered delivery of matzo ball soup and fresh fruit directly from the website. Food got to me very quickly, driver actually followed my directions! I was texted every step. The soup is really yummy and comforting, flavorful but not overpowering. The fruit was fresh: strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, melon, orange.

  We went to Pickles today after not having eaten there in a few months. We were absolutely floored by how expensive it has gotten. The average cost of a sandwich is now $24 and the average breakfast dish is around $22. Also the quality of the food is average at best. Also there weren’t very many patrons there which seemed very unusual for 11:00 AM on a Friday. I’m guessing due to the price increases. Finally the service which in the past was one of their strong points, was very slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Pretty disappointing.
