  Visited Wakatobi Restaurant recently and honestly such a hidden gem for Japanese food. The restaurant has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Everything was very clean, the presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the warm lighting and calm ambiance made the whole dining experience even better. We started with miso soup and salad, both fresh and flavorful. The miso soup was comforting and perfectly balanced, while the salad had a delicious creamy dressing that was so good. For sushi, we tried several specialty rolls and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The fish quality stood out immediately and the rolls were packed with flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully plated. We also had dumplings and noodle soup, and both were amazing. The dumplings were juicy with a crispy texture on the outside and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. The noodle soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor with thick noodles and tender meat that made every bite satisfying. We also tried the hibachi chicken with fried rice and vegetables, and the portions were generous, perfectly seasoned, and cooked fresh. One thing that really stood out was the staff. Everyone was extremely kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the visit. The service felt genuine and made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Wakatobi Restaurant is definitely one of the best spots for sushi, hibachi, noodles, and Japanese comfort food. The food quality, relaxing ambiance, generous portions, and excellent customer service make this place a restaurant I would absolutely recommend checking out.

  We had a great experience at WAKATOBI Japanese Grill & Sushi. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and there were plenty of vegetarian options too, which was a big plus for us. The hibachi experience was really fun and entertaining, and the chefs made the whole dinner lively. The ambience is nice and family-friendly, perfect for a casual dinner or celebration. Service was good and staff was attentive. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience — would definitely recommend and visit again

  Update: The business has responded and said the quality of ingredients sourced calls for higher prices but the issue here isn't the price itself but that we don't have the real prices before we dine and that's not okay. Please put up a print out or change the prices on the menu. Good food but the final check didn't match the actual menu prices (we were charged $8 or $9 respectively for veggie mix and avocado maki rolls while the menu listed each item for $7). This is a neighborhood restaurant we'd like to frequent but this slip makes me think twice. Also hoping to see some more veggie options on the menu in the near future.

  Fantastic!!! So happy to have a fresh made-to-order halal sushi! Everything was delicious and such a calming experience. They make the sushi in front of you, so prepare to have a nice heart to heart chat with your family as the wait is definitely worth it. There is even a prayer room! And the food and presentation is fantastic-the proof is in the pictures.
