  The drive-thru is a ridiculously long wait. I’ve gone here twice. The first time was at night. There were 3 cars ahead of me, and I waited 30 minutes for 4 tacos and a drink. The employee at the window was nice though, apologized for the wait, gave me a big bag of chips for free and lots of different salsas. That made me try it again a couple weeks later. It was lunch time and the drive thru was empty. I waited 20 minutes for 2 tacos and a drink. It was Taco Tuesday, and I ordered carne asada tacos, but when I got to the window to pay, there was a sign saying that carne asada wasn’t the Taco Tuesday price. They should put this on the menu (or tell us when we order) so we know ahead of time. I mentioned that I didn’t know that carne asada wasn’t included at the Taco Tuesday price, and the employee said that it’s been this way for over a year so I should know this. Apparently she thinks no one is a new customer. I asked for limes, and she said there weren’t any for the drive thru (I got limes the first time without having to ask), and I needed to come inside to get them from the salsa bar. I had a sleeping baby in the car, so I asked if she’d please get some for me. She was annoyed, but she did get me some. The tacos were just so so (meat was dry the second time) and definitely not worth waiting 20 - 30 minutes in the drive thru. If you haven’t had really good tacos, maybe you won’t know any better. I guess I’m spoiled by Guanatos City with their delicious $1 street tacos on Tuesday (just 25 cents extra for guacamole) with excellent quality meats, homemade tortillas and fresh agua frescas (Cotijas’ tamarindo comes in a box). Maybe Cotijas is better for dining in. They have a large menu with a lot more than tacos. I may try dining in and ordering a combination plate. If that’s good, I’ll update my review.

  Unbelievablely horrible. Somehow everytime I come here I end up waiting 20 minutes for my food, which would be okay for GOOD food; however you end up with the worst of the worst. My carne asada fries were stone cold IMMEDIATELY after receiving them?? My horchata tasted like water. Also, there were only about 3 pieces of carne asada in my CARNE ASADA fries. It’s funny that the lowest tipping option is also 15 %for absolute crap, here’s a tip: get some employees who actually know what they’re doing. Never coming back!!!

  Great little cozy fast casual spot. Service is great and food is very tasty. They even have drive thru if your on the go

  Cotijas really dropped the ball tonight. I ordered the full Carne Asada Fries, you know, the $15.99 item that’s supposed to actually look like a $15.99 item, and what I got was a sad, saggy pile of fries with barely any carne. Honestly, a half order I’ve had before looked fuller than this. Does this look like a $15.99 plate to you? Because it sure didn’t to me. And the picture doesn't even do justice to how little the portion actually was. Sometimes they serve it right, but tonight they just went through the motions. Maybe I should have let them know I tipped them or maybe they wanted more. If the secret to getting a full portion is tipping like I’m funding a scholarship, just say that. Otherwise, I don't get it.
