  Since I've been wandering around the South Bay ( Been 3 months already since unhoused) This location actually got me surprised by they're 24/7 ( I've been to many Safeway actually but most of them close at 2AM) That's also probably considering there's have 4 more grocery store which near by walking distance. Regardless this Safeway probably have all you needed to be honest, they have Starbucks, Safeway pharmacy,Quest Diagnostics and Amazon Locker! (Although most of them close pretty early) But at least the store is 24/7 so you will have a place to do late night shopping or window shopping ( I do) considering the free WiFi as well and restroom too! Anyway, they also have a roof for parking that mean you will no need to have hard time to find parking spaces! 💯🫆🦄🦝🐦‍⬛🌝🌚✨

  Came here to stock up on groceries for our stay. The store was clean and pretty well stocked. Good variety of selections. Also very helpful and friendly employees. Very convenient location

  I came to this Safeway to use the Olyns recycling machine, but the machine was full. I brought my bags to the customer service counter, but the employee who normally handles recycling was away, possibly on lunch. The manager, Antonio, was extremely busy, but he still stopped to let us know that the employee would be returning. When she had still not returned after some time, Antonio stepped in to help. Even though he was not completely familiar with the Olyns recycling process, he made a genuine effort to figure it out and even called someone to confirm the correct procedure. Throughout this time, Antonio was also handling several other customers and demands, yet he remained calm, patient, helpful, and professional. I was very impressed by how well he managed everything. Later, another employee clocked in and said that he only handled money orders. He was not openly rude, but his attitude felt reluctant and dismissive. I had to explain that I had already been waiting in line, and although he eventually asked someone how to help, his overall demeanor did not make me feel that he genuinely wanted to assist. The contrast between the two employees was very clear. Antonio was extremely busy but still maintained a positive attitude and did everything he could to help. His professionalism and customer service were excellent. I would have given this location five stars based on Antonio’s service alone, but I am giving four stars because of my interaction with the other employee.

  For years now, this location is not open 24 hours. For some reason they refuse to update their listed hours

  The store is closed. There is a handwritten sign saying that it will be closing at 12:30 am and *no opening time* listed. This store is listed as 24hrs on the Safeway site and also on the web. This is super inconvenient. I now see a similar review from 2 months ago and a management responded that they will fix it. Instead it has gone in the opposite direction with a sign that does not even give an opening time. Photo attached.
