- JJJohn1 day ago3.0I actually really like the food here but the service is questionable. I don’t know who the guys outside were but they were handling the waitlist very poorly. There was an older guy, guy with a beard, and a guy with glasses and we asked for a table for 2. Each one of them would just tell us to wait while they walked inside one by one to supposedly ask someone if one of the tables outside was okay for us to be seated at. Eventually they just told us a different pair was ahead of us and then just walked away without telling us if the table that was open was available. Had to go out of my way to ask if the table was available just to be told that we need to wait 15-20 mins and the table was only for the reservation list. I wouldn’t care so much if they had told me from the beginning that the wait would be 15-20 mins but making me wait for a response for a potential table opening and then ignoring us and not communicating whether the table was ready or not is just bad service.

The base was too soft, and despite having some leopard spots on the edge, it lacked any proper fermentation structure—extremely disappointing. The seafood in the stew was clearly just a frozen mixed seafood pack from the supermarket, which you could easily tell from the size of the calamari. The shrimp was also frozen, with that unnaturally bouncy texture rather than being fresh. The quality falls way short of the price. We also ordered the fried calamari—not only were the ingredients cheap, but it was also way too salty, as if salt were free.

We were seated outdoors under a tree, and the table was so small it couldn’t hold all the dishes we ordered. We politely asked to combine a nearby empty table since our plates literally didn’t fit. Initially, a staff member said they’d help, but a few minutes later, another (possibly a manager) rudely told us we couldn’t use the extra table because we were only two people. We weren’t hogging space—our dishes physically didn’t fit on one small table. To top it off, the area was dusty, with leaves falling on the table. This lack of flexibility and cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable.

The Highlights: The standout dish of the night was the prosciutto and fig pizza, which completely stole the show. The Misses: The little gem salad was our least favorite item. I wish we had declined it since the pizza portions left us entirely full, though the leftovers made for a great meal the next day.
- KKKalesAug 22, 20261.0Very weird very odd experience. this place was on my list for some time, so we decided to go on a saturday. we’re seated outside, nobody comes for a good 15 minutes. then we order but it seems like a random worker and not a waiter bc he doesn’t take note of it, then waiter comes back because he’s forgotten so we reiterate again. not even after 20 mins we get our food, our “waiter?” asks us to pack up our food— mind you we still have a good spread on the table. feeling the pressure, i literally scarf down the food and waiter comes back with boxes this time (even though we didn’t ask) to leave. i’m not even done packing the food and he already takes the plate away. on top of that, i suspect something is awry with the seafood in freshness because tummy was feeling off after. owners seem rude and have no regard for human decency.
