⭐ Very disappointing experience at Chipotle Mountain House. I visited the store about two hours before closing, and they were already out of white rice and lettuce. While waiting for the fresh white rice to be made, the employee went to the to-go/online order section and took white rice from there to add to my bowl. When I asked if they could also get lettuce from the same to-go section, I was told no—that lettuce was only for online orders and they could not give it to in-store customers because they did not want to tell online customers that they were out of lettuce. I asked why rice could be taken from the to-go section but lettuce could not, and the employee could not give me a reasonable explanation. I was also told they could not offer any discount even though couple of ingredients were unavailable. The way I was treated felt rude, and it seemed like online orders were being prioritized over customers who came into the restaurant. If you are still open, especially with two hours remaining, customers should not be made to feel like they are getting an incomplete meal while being charged the regular price. Very disappointing customer service and inconsistent treatment of in-store customers. I hope management addresses the lack of ingredients and improves the way customers are treated.

The food tasted good, but the portion sizes at this location were very disappointing. The servings of rice, beans, chicken, and the other items were all much smaller than expected. I went there for lunch, but the portion was not enough to keep me full. I was hungry again within about two hours. I hope this location can improve the serving portions, because the food itself tastes good.

Consistently one of the better Chipotle locations we’ve been to. The food always seems fresh, and the entire team is positive, friendly, and welcoming every time we visit. The manager in particular really stands out. He’s always extremely attentive and goes above and beyond to take care of guests. You can tell that level of service carries over to the rest of the team and how the location is run. Solid food, great service, and consistently a good experience. We’re always happy to come back!

What's going on with Chipotle? A $100 order, and my favorite item, guacamole, was black as the black beans, horrible! A big piece of avocado seed in there! Chips were very soggy. Is it only at this location, or is Chipotle overrated now, and no valued food anymore?"

Food is not just about filling your stomach or satisfying hunger—it is also about taste, personal preference, and, for many people, cultural or religious dietary choices. This is something the associates at Chipotle MH need to understand and respect. When this location first opened, we also experienced inconsistent taste and quality. However, because we are longtime Chipotle fans and wanted to support our local business, we kept coming back. Over the past couple of months, the food quality has improved, and we even recommended this location to several of our friends. Unfortunately, our experience today was extremely disappointing. While preparing our order, one associate accidentally mixed a few pieces of beef into the chicken. When we politely pointed it out and explained that we do not eat beef, we requested that the chicken be replaced. Instead of apologizing, the associate responded dismissively, saying, “So what? Eat it,” and was reluctant to replace the food. The attitude and lack of respect were far more upsetting than the mistake itself. Mistakes can happen, but how employees respond makes all the difference. Customers who do not eat beef—whether for religious, cultural, or personal reasons—deserve to have their food handled with care and their concerns treated respectfully. I hope management addresses this issue by providing better customer service training, ensuring ingredients are handled carefully to avoid cross-mixing, and organizing the serving containers in a way that minimizes accidental mixing. Every customer deserves to have their food choices respected.
