- ASAnnette SandovalAug 17, 20261.0I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and Cajun fries, expecting a simple meal, but the burger was soggy and covered in way too much mayo, and the fries were soggy as well. I asked if they could either remake my order or refund me since the food was not edible. I was told they could do neither. What really surprised me was being told that the general manager does not allow them to remake food or issue refunds because the location “isn’t making money” and doesn’t have enough customers. Honestly, after this experience, I can clearly see why. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted the food I paid for($21.73) to be made correctly. In this economy, eating out is a treat for many of us, and it’s incredibly disappointing to spend your money and leave with no edible food and no refund. I left extremely disappointed and will think twice before coming back to this location. Five Guys needs to do better, especially when it comes to making things right for customers who have already paid for their food. I also did not receive a receipt and paid cash. When I asked the “manager” to reprint it he just told me he could only give me the time it shows him I ordered it.
