- KKkirKauaiAug 10, 20263.0I understand why it's now referred to as Dunkin' and not Dunkin' Donuts. Drive-thru is helpful but not enough. It's been a long time since we have been to a Dunkin' Donuts so we weren't sure what to expect. We were on our way home from an appointment and Quick Quack so we thought we would give Dunkin' a try. My wife wanted a dozen Donut Holes, however, they don't sell them in a dozen. The closest was a 10 pack of Donut Holes so we ordered a 10 pack of Mixed Donut Holes. My wife also wanted a couple of plain cake donuts but we were informed that they don't have those. My favorite donuts are the "Old Fashioned" donuts: glazed and chocolate. When I asked for Old Fashioned donuts they had no idea what I was talking about. After a concerted effort to explain what an Old Fashioned donut was we were assured they have them. So we ordered two glazed and two chocolate old fashioned. When I summarized our order to them the following was repeated back: 10 Pack Mixed Donut Holes 2 Glazed Old Fashioned 2 Chocolate Old Fashioned 2 Plain Cake Donuts (?) A price for our order was not given. We received: 10 Pack Mixed Donut Holes 2 Glazed Donuts 2 Chocolate Donuts 2 Plain Donuts (looked like glazing was scraped off). There were no Old Fashioned, which I believe are buttermilk donuts which have a specific shape. All the donuts were just plain donuts of plain quality. The donuts were smaller than I am used to getting. We had reviewed the Menu for this specific Dunkin' via Google Maps and it listed Old Fashioned and Cake donuts so I had every expectation that I would arrive home with what I ordered. No quarantee on the quality, though, since I didn't check reviews. The Drive-thru feature was a big attraction to us because we are both mobility challenged due to health issues, however, in the future we we will be going into our local donut shop where they have all the donuts and sandwiches we could want.
