I am INCREDIBLY HAPPY that we have The green olive near by, their food selections are so tasty so juicy and flavorful! I can go on and on saying amazing things about the green olive, but I’ll just let you experience it on your own 😊 My fave is the chicken kebab plate or lamb, with a side of Jalapeño (as a true Mexican 🇲🇽) I like that spicy flavor and my grilled tomato 🍅 too 😋 just thinking about it makes my mouth water lol
Enjoy!!! 😉

For a $46 meal, the food was terrible. That is, rice was dry and the salmon smelled and tasted really bad as if the fish was not fresh. We have salmon at John's Kabob and Pop's Fresh at Alhambra and it's a huge difference in quality. I expected better from this place given their prices are way too high compared to the restaurants I just mentioned.

They gave our food to someone else. Instead of acknowledging or apologizing for their mistake, they tried to be secretive about it, whispering to eachother and the guests who were eating our food. We ended up getting our food 45 mins after ordering. The food is delicious but not worth the trouble and money spent. Hope the other guests enjoyed themselves, though ✌️

Wanted to love it, but too inconsistent (and what's with the spicy potato?)
I grew up eating this kind of food, so I was really excited for Olive Green to open—especially living in Monterey Park and hoping for a good alternative to Sofreh and John's Kabobs.
I've now been three times, so this isn't a snap judgment. Service is mostly good, and the employees are genuinely eager to please. But the food itself is inconsistent—depends entirely on who's cooking, and the presentation varies wildly. One time my gyro wrap came wrapped properly; another time it was just thrown loose into a to-go container.
The tzatziki, which is what makes a gyro world-famous, was watery and dripping—a clear sign of a bad imitation. Also, please eliminate that stupid spicy potato. Whose idea was that?
Compared to the Downey location and even the one in Commerce, this spot has a long way to go on quality and presentation. I'm disappointed so far, but I have faith in my Egyptian brother to get this store consistent like the others.

Great service and good food. Been going to Downey one for many years glad one open up closer. Had salmon wrap and was as good as the one in Downey. Wife had chicken and fillet migon and she preferred the chicken here over the Downey location.
