  I’m a regular here, but today’s experience around 3:15 PM truly stood out and honestly became the highlight of my day! The two young ladies working were so sweet, welcoming, and attentive. A special thank you to the young lady who prepared my bowl — my plate genuinely felt like it was made and served with love. Everything looked great, and the care she put into preparing it did not go unnoticed. I also really appreciated that I didn’t even have to ask about the complimentary side of pita bread — it was offered to me. It may seem like a small thing, but I’m always hesitant to ask, so that thoughtful gesture meant a lot and made the service feel even more welcoming. I haven’t seen these two employees before, and as someone who comes here regularly, they left such a great first impression. I even tried to leave them a tip because I was so happy with the service, but they kindly let me know they couldn’t accept it. I really wish tips were allowed because they absolutely deserved one! Such a wonderful experience and great new staff. I left SO happy and will definitely continue being a loyal customer. Please recognize these two young ladies, especially the one who prepared my bowl — they went above and beyond! ❤️

  Visiting from the bay area and Cava was highly recommended by my daughter. Did not disappoint! First time here so I went with the Greek pita with grilled chicken and a side of pita bbq chips. Food and SERVICE were both EXCEPTIONAL!!! And unlike most places in the bay area, they do not ask for tips although in this case, it would have been well deserved!!

  A HUGE shoutout to CODY, AMARION, and HANNAH at the Monrovia location! 🙌🏾 They provided such an amazing experience with quick, friendly, and efficient service. They were extremely helpful with building my bowls and preparing my order, and they made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable. Please keep these amazing team members at this location! I will definitely be returning to the Monrovia location because of the wonderful customer service I received. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you again, Cody, Amarion, and Hannah! You all were amazing! 🤍

  The food itself is good — solid flavors, fresh ingredients. But the service at the bowl line at this location has been a repeat problem, and it's why I'm knocking off stars. The main issue is with one of the employees serving proteins/toppings — a short Latina woman who wears a head wrap. There are no name tags, so I can't give her name, but management will likely know who I mean. On my most recent visit, I asked her for extra lettuce and got maybe three small shreds. I asked again for a bit more and received the exact same tiny amount, like it was coming out of her own paycheck. The attitude that comes with it makes you feel like you're an inconvenience for simply ordering what you're paying for. This isn't a one-off — I've had the same experience with her specifically on previous visits, which is why I finally decided to write this. If you're going to work the line at a food establishment, energy and customer service matter. Management should address this directly with staff, because it's undermining an otherwise good product.

  We were only ones in line at first. Then people started coming in. This was our first time. The guy taking the first part of our order was helpful but hurrying us to order. He got us our mains. Then came the second part that was handed to jeanine. I Asked what was in front of me and just told me to read 6 to 8 bullet points of stuff on the glass as I tried to compare to what is on the pans. Confusing. Then I asked what harsini is and she told me to read it on the glass. I mentioned in the beginning to her that this was our first time and if she could help us. She could not describe the options to us. All she could do was point to the glass and have us read the options. My wife was frustrated. Very intimidating for newby. She was not helpful and did not want to help. Seems like wrong person to represent this restaurant. Cashier did seem nice. I dont think we will go back. Food was good. Black lentils were a bit hard. Not sure if that is how they are suppose to be. I just pointed to different colors of hummus. Not sure what I got. Got first dressing that could be good. Sodas are ok.
