  DO NOT BUY steaks from the manager special section. Multiple times now they have sold me SMELLY, ROTTEN STEAKS. They look ok in the package, but when you get them home and open them, they have an overpowering smell of spoilage. Just because it's discounted doesn't mean I should have to deal with rotten meat. They shouldn't sell that. Butcher needs to be told not to put out meat that's too far gone

  DO NOT ORDER CAKES FROM HERE! Before placing the order i was in person asking if they do the drip effect on cakes. The person who took my order said yes, and that their edible image machine has been down for months but i can bring my own image for them to put on. I get the image, i called to see if it was too late 2 days before i was due to pick up cake. I was told they will not put it on because they didn’t make it. Ok fine. I also told them i wanted strawberry filling with buttercream in the middle. It was on the paper. I showed up today and to my absolute disgust was handed this cake! Not even close to what i asked for. Where’s the drip effect i was told you do! And i was told the cake was made with 3 tiers instead of 2 so they were unable to put the strawberries. Even before leaving after placing my order in person the guy who took the order took a picture of my inspo picture and sent it to their cake decorator Maria in front of me. My number was on the order receipt not 1 person had the audacity to call & communicate anything. I get your not professionals, however do not say you can do something and you don’t deliver on it. Someone lied on their resume and should be fired. This is atrocious. I was given The cake heavily discounted, but the manager who rang me up had An annoyed look on his face. I showed him the inspo picture and was like this isn’t even close to what i asked for this isn’t right. He didn’t say a word to me. I am appalled by the bakery and the manager staffing.

  They have a large variety of hair products to choose from. Come check it out. Im sure you'll find something you like. Dont forget to walk around the stor to see what else they have to offer... Enjoy your visit.

  Safeway is barely okay if you can go into the store. If you must use their website, find another store. The website fights to not show you what you're looking for; doesn't allow cancellation of orders; is an immense time waster. If you try to cancel an order in a timely manner, you will be forced to leave at least one item in the cart. I had to leave one item in order to cancel the rest of a large order. I paid almost $8 for a $4 package of lunch meat that I will never see. If you try to call the phone number provided, an AI voice refuses to let you speak to a human being. There are many better grocery stores! My advice: try one of them.

  I strongly urge shoppers to shop elsewhere! I wish I could also give ZERO STARS to this company, at least for online orders!!!! In December of 2025, I placed an online pickup order which consisted of approximately $100 of alcohol (for desserts, so very specific to recipes). They gave my order to someone else FOR FREE, while I was still charged. I was forced to go back the following day, after vendor delivery, to hopefully have my items replaced. I was told that a refund would be given for my missing alcohol order, but they would replace for FREE. I went the following day, and had 1 of my items replaced, but NO REFUND PROCESSED!! Today, I placed another online pickup order, only my 2nd online order since December, mind you. Safeway replaced one of my items without notification or approval. When calling the store, the online order representative lacked professionalism, and chose to speak to me as if they didn't know how to use proper English/grammer. After speaking with the store DIRECTOR, she basically indicated she could care less about the lack of professionalism. As this is a great indicator of how leadership believes their business needs to be run, I strongly urge the public to shop elsewhere!!! PLEASE NOTE many other stores with great discounts offer online ordering/pickup - Save Mart, Walmart, Food 4 Less, etc. Some will even price match, so please please please shop elsewhere. Customer service is definitely lacking here for online orders!!
