- KAKaylie AcordAug 20, 20211.0I see other reviews similar to mine so unfortunately this seems to be something that happens often. We placed our order and after an hour had no updates. We called and were told the pizza had delivered 30 mins ago, so of course we let them know it must have gone to the wrong apartment because we didn’t have anything. We were placed on hold for 15 mins. The employee let us know the delivery driver admitted to the error so they would remake our order and deliver as soon as possible. She wasn’t rude but it was not very apologetic, it was kind of an “it it what it is” attitude. Now I work in food service so normally if a mistake happens a sincere apology is all I need. Didn’t really get that. Also if the delivery driver knew he made an error, why wouldn’t he let them know right away so the customer could get a new order made as soon as possible? Instead he swept it under the rug and an hour and a half later we have no dinner. My sister has been in the hospital all week, it’s been a hard week. We just didn’t want to cook tonight. It would have been nice if this was handled differently, from the delivery driver owning up to his mistake 30 mins sooner, to getting a real apology, to even comping part of the order for the inconvenience. Overall it feels like the last thing we needed. We were very nice on the phone because at the end of the day, it’s not this girls fault what happened, and it’s certainly not her fault we are having a tough week, but this review is warranted for how the mistake was handled. We’re all human and make mistakes but this business should have made a better effort to make things right when something went wrong.
