  Food is good, usually go through the the drive thru when eating here. Be sure to double check your order before your order before you leave, it's usually wrong. That's been my experience.

  I hadn't gone to to this establishment for several years, and regret going back. I've gone after 2 pm, and the staff are rude. I was charged the incorrect amount, and was on my lunch, so didn't have time to correct it. On my next visit, I showed this young man my receipt, and he offered me a free drink or said, I could go inside and talk to the manager to get an adjustment. I told him, on my next visit, I'll just get a free drink, since he told me to save my receipt. Well, I went back probably the next week, and advised the person who took my order, and the lady at the drive-thru speaker, asked me, what his name was. I didn't catch it, so I told her I didn't know. She had a major attitude with me when I brought it up when she was charging me. She said, "We need to know a name or we don't know." I have been working in customer service for the last 20 years, and this sort of treatment is unacceptable. It was just a drink I was promised. I did go back again, because I needed something quick and got her again, and she was very rude both on the speaker and rushed to take my payment. I won't be going back to this place again. You go across the street, and the staff at Jack in the Box are extremely polite, and know how to treat their customers. Please train your staff better. I will say that the night crew is much nicer.

  I used to come here all the time and never had a problem. Well last 2 times I’ve ate here I got REALLY sick. I got food poisoning but couldn’t tell exactly from where so I decided to try it again today (2 months after my food poisoning) and again sick and horrible diarrhea

  I visited El Pollo Loco in Merced expecting a comfortable place to enjoy a meal, but the experience was disappointing. The air conditioning wasn’t working, making the dining room extremely hot and uncomfortable. It was difficult to enjoy the food because of how warm it was inside. I understand that equipment can fail, but customers should be informed or efforts should be made to keep the dining area comfortable. Hopefully management addresses the issue quickly so future customers have a better experience.
