Loved this place! First time at the Menifee location. Food was delicious, very clean, super sweet staff. Tia was so attentive. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I really loved their food and service. Will definitely be going back.

First time at this location and we were welcomed in by Tia. Mona checked on our service and cleared our plates and table. Tia and Mona Truly make this Luna Grill shine. My husband and I just started eating Mediterranean food and this will be definitely our first choice to come back to. Thank you Mona and Tia.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant while traveling from Washington, and I was excited to try it. As someone who previously worked as a food prep, cook, and restaurant manager, I understand how busy restaurants can get, and I also understand the importance of food safety and customer service. I ordered the Chicken & Gyro Plate with fries and salad. My husband ordered the Koobideh Plate with fries and hummus, and my son ordered the Grilled Chicken Plate with fries and rice. Unfortunately, both my son's chicken and mine were undercooked. My son actually continued eating his because he thought that was simply how it was supposed to taste- he mentioned it AFTER he heard me telling my husband that my chicken was undercooked. After we had finished eating, the manager came over to ask if we would download the restaurant's rewards app. I politely replied that I wouldn't download the app for a restaurant that had served us undercooked chicken. To his credit, the manager immediately apologized, explained that they normally check temperatures, and offered to remake the chicken. We initially declined because we were full and getting ready to leave, but after he insisted, we agreed to wait. While waiting, however, we overheard one of the cashiers tell the cook in Spanish, "Make sure the chicken is well done." The cook responded by complaining that the chicken was already done and that if he burned it a little, I would probably complain that it was burnt. My husband and I understood the entire conversation because we both speak Spanish That interaction was far more disappointing than the undercooked chicken itself. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, but what truly matters is how they're handled. Having worked for many years in this industry myself, I know that when a guest receives an unsatisfactory meal, the proper response is to remake the entire dish professionally and without complaining or speaking negatively about the customer. I also have years of experience preparing, cooking, and managing Mediterranean and Greek restaurants, and I can honestly say there is significant room for improvement—not only in food safety and customer service, but in the authenticity and execution of the food itself. The manager handled the situation respectfully and professionally, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the attitude displayed by some of the staff completely changed our impression. This location would greatly benefit from additional training in customer service, professionalism, food safety, and handling customer complaints. I genuinely hope they take this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has the potential to be much better. Needless to say, Luna Grill (Temecula) used to be my favorite place before it was also changed to this "new version."
