Not realizing what time they close, they were still so kind to serve us. Yes, we got there pretty late. The food was delicious. We had brisket, rib tips, pork belly, mac & cheese and cornbread. We will definitely be back to try the tri tip and other things. It was a pleasure to meet Tim and Heidi… very personable.
Thank you for a great experience!

It's been about a month since I tried this place out. It was excellent! Grabbed it to go and brought it home. Also just really glad a clean, well put together establishment filled in a once vacant, ugly corner in town.

This place is nasty. The brisket is ok, but everything else is straight up gross. Cafeteria food tastes better. usually give places three tries, but on the second try they were so rude, I decided to never go back. I left a review on Facebook, and the owner blamed me for his employees being rude, even though I never even said a word to them before getting shouted at, and then threatened me. Disgusting food, disgusting people.

We ordered the 3 meat plates x3 so the 4 of us could try different things. It was ALL delicious. Only thing that could of made it better was some BBQ sauce. The Mac n cheese was creamy and actually tasted like it had cheese. We also tried the peach cobbler. The serving was huge for the price and it was so yummy 😋

I'll give it another shot some day, but when I pay for BBQ, it should be worth the price. I've paid similar prices in Texas and South Carolina and the experience met the cost, and we left full and satisfied. I ordered Brisket, Dino ribs, and pork ribs. For sides, we got mac and cheese, baked beans, and corn bread. Right of the bat, I'll say the sides were good. The brisket was dry. It was the flat. If I go back I might see if I can request the point next time. The dino rib was pretty small. If you're thinking Flintstone size, you'd be wrong. It was a little bigger than a pork spare rib. It was also kinda dry. It did have better flavor than the brisket though. The pork ribs were good. If I try them again, I'll definitely reorder those. The issue I have is, it's always hard to give BBQ restaurants a second shot because they are expensive, and to be fair, I totally understand the costs, but it definitely makes it hard to risk spending gobs more money to have another mediocre experience, especially when I get better brisket cooks at home. I want to be wowed!
