  After passing this new restaurant every week, we finally got to try it on a Taco Tuesday during the World Cup! They had a TV streaming the Mexico vs. Ecuador game with no crowd (should probably gatekeep that) and a great $1.99 Carne Asada Taco deal for the day. (Wednesdays are $2.99 Fish Tacos) Everything else was super reasonably priced, and the food was delicious!! All the sauces and fixins were freshly prepared, and the Baja tacos had perfectly fried fish and shrimp. Great textures and flavors all around! The couple running the place were kind and accomodative, and we’ll definitely be coming back to support them. It’s a small, intimate place that has online ordering, breakfast, etc. you name it - We hope it sticks around!

  ​I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but the food safety issue I witnessed here was unacceptable. I ordered the aguachiles and watched the employee prepare them in the open kitchen. After adding the initial sauce, she smelled it, made a disgusted face, and had the chef smell it as well. They then took the bowl to the back room, presumably to rinse the spoiled sauce off the shrimp, because she returned moments later with the same shrimp and a new batch of sauce. ​Rinsing spoiled sauce off seafood does not wash away bacteria. Between that major health concern and the stale tostada I was served, I will never order from this restaurant again. Avoid this place.

  Wow. This place rocks! I moved from San Diego to LA 4 years ago and have been shocked and depressed with the taco shops here compared to San Diego. This is the first place I’ve found in 4 years that is San Diego style. The salsas are awesome and they have all the right ones. California burrito was really good! Fish taco was really good! If you’re reading this, call your folks and tell them to stop what they are doing and come with you to eat at this establishment. Not sure why the California burrito is not in the menu is the only thing.
