  Every time I go into the store now there is line of 8+ men standing at the door loitering around the pokevend machine. There are clear no loitering display on the machine while the timer resets to prevent people from buying all the product. One, I would like to be able to check and use the machine when I come in to buy my grocery's every week on my way home from work in the morning but that's just not possible because they wait out the timers to scalp the product. Two, I would like to be able to come in to shop without being greeted by 8+ Men standing at the door staring at everyone that enters. These things are making the experience of shopping at this location less than desirable and if the stores own rules are not enforced soon I will be finding a new grocery store to shop at.

  I was at this Safeway on May 16th around 7:30 AM and I was looking for some Sun Chip that were on sale. There was two employees walking by and I made the comment that there isn’t a Sun Chips. The one woman that I think was an assistant manager who was short plump with curly dark haired responded “Yea we’re working on it”. So unprofessional, I left not getting anything I won’t be coming back. It was all I could do not to comment back but I won’t lower myself to where she’s at.

  Typically I love going to safeway, unfortunately the store no longer has carry baskets for when you're just stopping by to pick up a couple items. They have plenty of bascarts, and so that works just fine.

  This 1 star is specially for the lady with the glasses who was Incharge of self check out section on May/5th/26 time 11:15pm. She was rude and mad. While checking out I asked to help me weighing tomatoes first asked to scan the barcodes on each tomatoes when I did that then she got mad at me said why am I doing this weight them all together she was not willing to help me as if I was getting the items for free, I could have raise my voice on the time being but I didn’t want to be like her. so, my request from the higher management is to please arrange a meeting with such rude staff and let them know that they being paid by customers not safeway. The management can check security cameras how rude she was to me. Thank you

  I’ve got to say—Safeway’s hot food counter is seriously underrated. I ordered the chicken thigh lunch with coleslaw and broccoli salad, and it exceeded expectations. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right—not dry like you’d expect from a grocery deli. You can actually taste the quality. What really surprised me is the value. For a simple combo, you’re getting a solid, balanced meal: protein from the chicken, fiber from the cabbage and broccoli, and even some micronutrient benefits from ingredients like bell peppers and cruciferous veggies. It’s not just convenient—it’s actually a smart, nutritious choice. A lot of people overlook this option, but honestly, meals like this can easily hold you over for the day if you’re eating strategically. Simple, affordable, and satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back.
