  Stopped here around 7 pm and got food to go. The chicken was burnt and dry. The poke wasn't as fresh as we expected and the mac salad was gritty. So disappointed based on this locations ratings

  Poke is in so many strip malls here in LA that it’s often hard to find really authentic Hawaiian poke with fresh fish. I had almost given up and then I found Ali’i, which is simply amazing! It honestly reminded me of my favorite poke place on the Big Island: amazing fish that was well seasoned. Even better? We got there right at the start of happy hour, when they offer several discounted items. My husband passed on the poke and tried the fried fish, which was freshly fried and had a homemade rémoulade. I live on the other side of LA, but will definitely be back! This place is so good it’s worth LA traffic!

  5 star poke place and all around Hawaiian restaurant. Super fun and authentic staff. Amazing poke with thick and flavorful sauces. Fresh and bright. Loco Moco was about perfect. Atmosphere both indoor and out was ideal. Great place and beats Jus Poke if you ask me. Jus Poke is good, but this place tops it in my books. More variety and more fun.

  To be honest, because of the reviews I had some high expectations and today’s visit swept me off my feet! We came here with my dad for the last meal before the flight from LAX and I would repeat this visit a 100 times. We tried 2 plates with teriyaki beef and tuna as the appetiser. The food is great, plate options offer you to play around with picking various sides and bases with varied sauce options. Still the food is not the only amazing one here - the staff is great and you can enjoy some good conversation with them. While watching them working today on all the orders it was a pleasure to see how much fun they maintain in the team and how they simply enjoy creating the best meal that will end up on your plate. Definitely a must-visit and try type of place!

  Ali’i Hawaiian Grill is hands down one of our favorite poke spots in the South Bay! Every time we come in, the owner is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be serving his customers. He takes the time to explain the menu, offers samples, and makes you feel like a friend rather than just another customer. That kind of hospitality is rare! And the food? SO GOOD! 🤙🏼 The poke is fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Today we tried the Huli Chicken for the first time and were absolutely blown away! It was incredible and definitely something we’ll be coming back for. Great food + amazing hospitality = a South Bay gem. ❤️🌺 Highly recommend Ali’i Hawaiian Grill!
