I had clean, organized, and upscale shopping experience, and the friendly and helpful service. Prices can be high.

On August 9, 2025, at 12:25 p.m., while shopping at Vons in Ktown, I had an uncomfortable experience with a supervisor and a member of the security staff. While shopping, I was followed by security. After paying for my groceries, I approached Supervisor Nancy and asked her to call security Danny over because he was following me inside the store, making me feel extremely uncomfortable while shopping in a place I’ve been to countless times. As he approached me and Supervisor Nancy with a threatening demeanor, I asked security Danny in front of Supervisor Nancy why he kept following me and staring at me while I was in line. He told me to file a complaint without any remorse or reason. Supervisor Nancy didn’t care at all and didn’t try to make the situation any better. She seemed to have an attitude that I was even bringing this up to her. Situations like this make me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe while shopping at Vons. I’ve never experienced anything like this at any grocery store. I was treated like a criminal and felt racially profiled. To the management staff, do better! I shop at the grocery store for good produce and good prices, not to leave feeling disrespected by the staff or your security team. I’ll be going to corporate with my complaint as well because I deserve an apology and compensation.
