  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WORTH. THE. WAIT. 🙌🏾🔥 When 11 hungry people call you at the LAST MINUTE asking, “Can y’all take us?” and you say COME ON—you already have my attention! 😂 From the moment we called, our waitress Max was friendly, welcoming, and encouraged us to come in. When we arrived, she was ready for this big ol’ party of 11! ❤️ Now, I’m gonna keep it real: it took a little minute for all of our plates to hit the table. BUT BABYYYY… when that food came out?! 🤤🔥🔥🔥 FRESH. AUTHENTIC. FLAVORFUL. AND WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF THE WAIT. Everything tasted like somebody in that kitchen was cooking with LOVE and SEASONING! 😂 The portions were generous, the prices were fair, and our entire group was HAPPY. I don’t drink, but the folks at our table who had the rum punch said it tasted incredibly fresh and that they could actually taste the spices in it—not just alcohol and juice. 🍹 Between 11 people, we spent around $400, ordered plenty of food AND desserts, and do you know what I didn’t hear? ONE. SINGLE. COMPLAINT. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Nobody complained about the bill. Nobody complained about their portion. Nobody complained about the food. We left FULL and SATISFIED. And YES—we made room for dessert because apparently we believe in finishing what we started. 😂🍰 Max, thank you for welcoming our last-minute crew and taking such good care of us! If you want fast food, go get fast food. But if you want fresh, authentic food packed with flavor, give the kitchen a minute to do what they do. 11 people. $400. Full bellies.   Chef Bernard and our hostess Mex were wonderful. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was a really cool vibe. They hosted our party of 11 with wonderful service, food and drinks. We are visiting from Missouri and will make this spot one of our favorite destination stops whenever we return to LA.

  Amazing vibes and always reliable and quick. Though I usually don’t want to leave because of the atmosphere. Very modernized island fusion. Music always boppin! Amazing.

  We did not expect what we discovered in this truly amazing restaurant. It sits in a nicer strip mall in Hollywood. As we walked in, the smells were so clean and pleasant. The restaurant was really clean. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere so tropical and indicative of the origins of the dishes they served us. We chose the Jerk Salmon plate and the Jerk Chicken plate with our sauces on the side, as we were hesitant about their taste profiles before we received our food. When I took the first bite, I knew right away that - it was by far the BEST cooked salmon that I had ever eaten. My son, Brian continued to fill his mouth and lick his lips, so he had nothing to say until the plate was empty. He then told the server that it was AMAZING! That is rare for my son - who has the Cajun "touch" for food and is particular about a foods flavor and how it is cooked. Perhaps, more so than me. I could not believe the sauces! Truly sumptuous. Truly an addiction has begun. I can tell you one thing for sure - they can do the simple things RIGHT. Cabbage sauteed in a succulent and very light sauce with carrots. Rice with flavor that is not overbearing or familiar, which leaves you wanting more. And here is the culmination of a truly satisfying meal - a sorrel tea that I poured over loads of ice that slithered down my throat like mountain water running down a slick, smooth rock and plunging into a grateful pool. I would say to anyone that if you are seeking pleasure for your palate - here it is!
