  Vivoli is a great little local spot that’s been there FOREVER, and I thought it was great to see they had the food truck to serve from while they were renovating. Unfortunately I won’t be returning - all these years of being open and serving your dishes and you made the choice to use AI to create your menus and photos of the food. Absolute slop and the food looks inedible in the AI photos compared to the food that I know Vivoli serve. If you can’t use real photos of your food then you’re deceiving your customers or you have something to hide.

  If I could give zero stars, I would. My recent experience at Vivoli Cafe was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The service was nothing short of a joke. Our waiter was aggressive and rude, and the rest of the staff seemed completely disinterested in doing their jobs. To add insult to injury, they automatically tack on a 15% tip to the bill—clearly because they know they'd never earn it otherwise. They’ve given up on providing good service, so they just force you to pay for it. And the food? Completely and utterly rotten. I ordered a Caprese, and what I got was definitely NOT bufala mozzarella. It was cheap, flavorless, and an insult to Italian cuisine. Honestly, you’d be better off crossing the street to CVS and grabbing a can of Spaghettios—it would taste better than anything this place pretends to cook. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid Vivoli Cafe at all costs. There are countless better Italian spots in LA—this place is an overpriced, poorly run tourist trap that doesn’t deserve your time or money.
