Great food, great staff. Have tried a few of their sandwiches and all are delicious. The owner is really nice and staff are friendly. Free parking is in the back.

Absolutely amazing experience at Pino’s Sandwiches in Los Feliz.
From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm, welcoming, and genuine. The owner and staff clearly care about what they’re building — you can feel the pride, hospitality, and attention to detail in every part of the experience.
And the food is outstanding. I had the Ganzo sandwich, and it was incredible — flavorful, fresh, perfectly balanced, and made with real craft. It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you immediately want to come back and try the whole menu.
Pino’s is exactly the kind of local spot you want to support: great people, great service, and seriously great food. Highly recommend.
I LOVE PINO’S!!! My first time trying Pino’s was in Florence, and I’m so happy that there is one in LA :) My sister and I split “The Los Feliz” which contains eggplant, prosciutto, caramelized onions, Brie cheese, and truffle cream (aka my ultimate dream sandwich)…their competitor doesn’t have a sandwich that contains all of these elements. The caramelized onions add the perfect sweetness to an overall indulgent sandwich. Plus they warm it on a panini press!
Had this place bookmarked for a long time
There’s meter parking in front and free parking in the back. I also saw signs about valet parking ($7 or $12 with validation), hopefully that’s not for a sandwich shop
I was in a hurry, so I ordered takeout. Everything was ready pretty quickly.
I got the Ganzo. I’d give it a solid 4/5. The lady warned me about the caramelized onions, and honestly I do like the sweet and salty combination. Personally, I think pear or maybe fig with honey would’ve worked even better. I also would’ve liked a little arugula.
Sandwich was around $18-19 before tax and tip
Clean restroom, no weird key attached to a giant spoon or code to ask for.
There’s seating inside and outside. Everyone was friendly.
Overall, definitely worth trying. Next time I’ll probably order The Best.

The restaurant smells like an Italian kitchen, which is always a good sign.
I got a Ghiotto. It came as a panini (pressed Italian flat bread sandwich). The bread was outstanding. Light, flavorful, crispy crunchy and soft and airy at the same time. The bread was as perfect as it could possibly be. Perhaps a brush of butter before toasting would top it off, but that would just be a different way to toast it, not necessarily an improvement.
I could tell that the meat was exceptional. However, I didn't really get to taste it or enjoy it... Unfortunately, the person who took our order asked if I would like one of the hot sauces on the sandwich. I got the hotter one and found that it dominated the flavor of the sandwich too much. I like pepper sauces, right up to Ghost Pepper, so it wasn't the heat or even the flavor. In hindsight, I think that any hot sauce is a mistake on a well-balanced Italian sandwich. Picante as a primary flavor is a South American or Thai thing. Italian pepper is more like just a shake or two of pepper flakes, even in Southern Italy. Florence is central.
The manager (owner?) came by asking how our meal was and I gave him the feedback above. He offered to remake the sandwich but I had already eaten almost all of it and was satisfied. He showed up a bit later with a complementary remade sandwich to go. I put it in the fridge at work for lunch the next day. Even without freshly toasted and crispy bread, the flavor and balance was much better. I don't think there was any pepper sauce; I didn't notice any picante.
The overall experience was great. They carry many products from Italy. The San Pellegrino beverages were a nice surprise and my companion bought several items that reminded her of her time in Italy. Some of the San Pellgrino beverages had sucralose, which comes through pretty strong against the relatively subtle fruit infusion. I recommend the beverages without the artificial sweetener.
They have a broad selection of sandwiches and I look forward to trying more of them. The Magic ZBD is probably the next one to try.
