Truly lives up to LAs reputation for pizza. On entering the establishment the pizzas are sitting on display looking sad and desperate for anyone to try them. I ask if they have a deal on multiple by the slice orders to fill a box and I'm looked at like I'm crazy like it's never been asked before.
I order 2 cheese pizzas a grandma and a caprese the caprese looks the most appetizing. He throws them in the oven and before I know it the pizzas are ready. They are sloppily thrown into a box stacked upon each other. Maybe it's my fault he asked if I wanted one box or two and I said one. But I didn't know this would be the result.
I try the cheese and it's soggy and sad. No crisp in sight. The bite feels like I'm ripping a piece of paper with my mouth.
I am so disappointed.

Stopped by Joe's Pizza and it was a solid spot overall. The staff was super chill and kept things moving without hovering. Pizza came out fresh, good flavor, you can tell the ingredients are legit. Prices felt pretty fair for what you get. It does get a little busy, but nothing crazy. I’d for sure swing by again

I just wish there was a store closer to me in the Southbay. The pizza here is nowhere near as good as Joe’s
