The food was good, but both of us felt rushed. That would have been understandable had the restaurant been bustling, but we were there early enough to avoid the crowd. Our server (presumably the owner?) Kept on top of us to order our entree. I prefer a very relaxed dinner experience. No rushing through the meal. We placed our drink order, and then our salad order. "That's all your going to order?" I lied and said I hadn't even looked at the entrees yet. Tbh, I despise when my entree comes while I am still working on my salad. So I'll wait to place the main course meal as I'm nearing the end of my salad. Again, a relaxed meal while enjoying the company of whom I with. Am I alone here? Once the meal was complete, our server seemed to lighten up and actually got friendly. Not too bad an experience, and the food was good.

Very disappointing experience. Google showed the restaurant as open, and the pickup app allowed me to place and pay for an order without any issue. After being charged, I arrived only to find out the restaurant is apparently closed on Mondays. One employee was kind and apologetic, which I appreciated. However, another man in a suit, who seemed to be the owner or manager, could not have seemed less concerned. I was essentially told that they are closed on Mondays and that I should just call my credit card company to dispute the charge. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of accountability or effort to make the situation right was what really disappointed me. No offer to help resolve the issue, no apology from management, and no gesture whatsoever to make up for the inconvenience. I’ve honestly never had a restaurant experience in LA handled this poorly.
