  We recently came back from our honeymoon trip in Japan, so maybe because of that we really miss the warm service and atmosphere from there. Honestly when we came here, it gave us little bit that Japan feeling again. The restaurant atmosphere was comfortable, staff was welcoming, and everything just feel very relaxing. Darren really made our experience better. K recommended me the creamy ramen and it was really good, but at same time I was already almost full 😂 Still somehow craving the Zen ramen because I love it so much. I was about to order the regular size, but Darren kindly suggested me to get the mini Zen ramen instead. He said it’s enough if I just want little craving and don’t want spend too much extra. I really appreciate that because many places just let customer order more, but he actually think from customer side too. Small thing but it show honesty and care. The ramen was delicious as always, rich flavor and comforting especially after long day. Service also feel very warm and natural, not fake friendly. It remind us little bit of Japan hospitality during our honeymoon trip, which made us happy honestly. Before leaving, my wife and I wanted to say thank you properly to Darren, but he was busy helping other customers so we didn’t get chance. So hopefully he can see this review someday. Anyway thank you Darren for your kindness, good recommendation, and great service. Really appreciate it and we will definitely come back again 🙏

  Every time we go to HINODEYA Ramen, Server K always smiling and being super nice to customers. You can tell he really care about people and make everyone feel welcome. His service honestly make the place feel even more like a real Japanese restaurant experience, warm and comfortable every time we visit. Food is also really good here. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful, and everything always taste fresh and comforting. The restaurant got a cozy vibe and nice atmosphere too. Me and my family always enjoy coming back here, especially because of the good food and kind service from Server K.

  Came to HINODEYA with my mom today. Daren was really respectful and patient with her, and he even helped pull the chair for my senior mom before she sat down. Small thing but really appreciated it. The ramen was so good too. My favorite is the Creamy ramen and my mom loves the HINODEYA ramen. Definitely one of the nicest service experiences we’ve had.And the Atmosphere is noisy with kids who are playing with big drum …not a good place for chilling.

  One of the best authentic ramen spots around LA! Try it once and you’ll see how flavorful and rich their ramen is! They also have a great range of spice levels, dare try level 10 EMMA but be warned! 🥵 it hurts good. They also have some great appetizers and very friendly service. The atmosphere is 12/10, it feels like you step into a different world when you walk through the little curtain doors

  Went to Hinodeya on Saturday and honestly the service was pretty disappointing. There was only one guy handling the whole dining room, taking orders and running around nonstop. You could tell he was trying, but it just wasn’t enough. I also saw a few staff hanging around near the bar while he was doing everything, which made it more frustrating. I waited about 20 minutes just to get seated, then another 10 minutes before I could even order. Ramen took around 20 minutes after that, and even a simple soda took like 10 minutes to come out. I get that places get busy, but this felt more like they were seriously understaffed even they have some people at back. Just made the whole experience way slower than it should’ve been.
