  We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here by chance—while our kids were at the Greek Theater. We had an amazing experience all around— starting with the welcoming host, our lovely waiter, Michael, our ceviche appetizer, margaritas, shrimp fajita & Baja fish tacos. Wow! All exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and we were able to linger and really enjoy it all. We highly recommend Encanto and look forward to going back.

  First of all, the space is tight and not tasteful. Feels like I'm eating in someone's small living room. Service was mild but the host was a little rude. The food is not authentic at all. I'm convinced everyone is drunk. I don't recommend this place at all.

  Came here for lunch during the week. Great food and great service. The Encanto margarita was great, Baja burrito too.

  I do not recommend going here with a large group. They have this weird policy that you have to spend a minimum amount with a large party. I found it rude, embarrassing and unnecessary. Should be ok with a smaller party. The food is good, but I would never go back with a large party.

  I visited with a group of 5 at 8:35 PM, well over an hour before their 10:00 PM closing time, but from the moment we walked in, we were made to feel unwelcome. When I asked for a table, the server immediately gave an excuse that they were only taking reservations. He told me to wait and then walked away without another word. A second server came over, did something on the computer, and started flipping through menus—completely ignoring us until I had to ask if we were going to be seated. Once seated, the rushed treatment only got worse. Before we even had a chance to open our menus, the server immediately pushed us to order appetizers. When I asked if the Salmon Veracruzano was spicy the server assured me it wasn't. It turned out to be spicy, and my sister couldn't eat her meal. To top off the evening, before all of us had even finished eating, two servers came over and started clearing the table around us without saying a word or apologizing. The entire interaction felt cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. As a Latina dining out with my family, the overall atmosphere and treatment made us feel singled out and like a burden rather than paying guests. Hospitality requires basic politeness and respect, regardless of the time or table size. I will not be returning
