- ENEric NavasAug 11, 20261.0Om August 9th 2026 at 12:10pm my mom and got our food after ordering from the kiosk. The problem was that the large side of mash potatoes and gravy was cold So we told the man behind the counter that the mash potatoes and gravy was cold and asked for a replacement. The employee gave us a new side order of mash potatoes which were also cold. We told him that the mash potatoes and gravy he replaced are cold. He said quote "All mashed potatoes are cold". Sidenote I worked in fast food and restaurants for years and know for a fact that mash potatoes are NEVER supposed to be cold. So then we asked the employee for a side order of rice instead. When he came back with the side order of rice he slammed it on the counter in front of us. We asked him Why did you do that? He gave no answer. The employee did not have his name tag and refused. to give us his name. His hold behavior was aggressive/hostile and he never once apologized. I'll describe him: a tall man who wears glasses, has brown skin, and is bi lingual in Spanish.I have been going to this El Pollo loco location for years and never had a problem until that day. The employee needs to be replaced

Flavorful. Good portions and a healthy choice. I'll definitely be back for that or one of the other double chicken meals.
