⭐ 1 STAR Absolutely TERRIBLE experience at Dave & Buster’s Hollywood, and what makes this especially upsetting is that this happened to my **12-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER**. My daughter was there last night for a private/middle school event and was given an unlimited-play card. Some games weren't included with that card and required additional credits. She wanted to play those games, so she went to the counter and paid an additional **$35**. Keep in mind — SHE IS 12 YEARS OLD. The employee had my daughter sign some type of form and then loaded the $35 onto the SAME unlimited-play card. Only afterward was my daughter told that the $35 couldn't be used from that particular card for the games she wanted to play. How does that make any sense? The employee works there and should know how these cards operate. A 12-year-old child shouldn't be expected to understand Dave & Buster’s card restrictions and policies better than the employee behind the counter. The employee initially told my daughter that she would refund the $35 but needed management approval. When the manager arrived, my daughter and her aunt were then told that the $35 **couldn't be refunded**. That's ridiculous. Even if there was some policy preventing a refund, management could have easily made this right by transferring the $35 to a usable Power Card or issuing a $35 Dave & Buster’s gift card. There were several reasonable solutions. Instead, they essentially kept a 12-year-old child's $35 after **their own employee made the mistake**. My daughter also told me that the employees were rude to her and her aunt while they were trying to resolve the situation. Looking at the mediocre reviews for this location, unfortunately, I'm not surprised. This wasn't an adult misunderstanding a transaction. This was a **12-year-old child trusting an adult employee to know what they were doing**. The employee took her money, put it on a card that couldn't be used for its intended purpose, acknowledged there was a problem and initially offered a refund — only for management to refuse to make it right. We're talking about $35. A manager had an easy opportunity to correct an employee's mistake, take care of a child attending a school event, and resolve the situation professionally. Instead, they chose to keep the money. For a business that makes its money entertaining children and families, that's extremely disappointing. Dave & Buster’s corporate should seriously look into how this Hollywood location is being managed and how its employees handle transactions involving minors. **Do better, Dave & Buster’s Hollywood. Keeping a 12-year-old's $35 because of a mistake made by your own employee is absolutely pathetic.**

I cannot even begin to say that from all the Dave n Busters I have been too this is by far the most superior. Rhonda the manager made us feel like literal rockstars. We were quite the needy group and she went above and beyond our expectations for a group our size. This location sets the bar so high that I never want to go to another. Thank you for a truly incredible experience. We can’t wait to return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST place for birthday parties! I’ve celebrated all of my kids’ birthdays at Dave & Buster’s Hollywood, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! Every single time, we’re treated like royalty. The staff makes us feel special, takes great care of us, and helps make the celebrations memorable and stress-free. It’s truly a one-stop shop for a fantastic birthday party. There’s something for everyone, from the little kids to the adults, so everyone has a great time! The games, food, atmosphere, and overall experience make it easy to bring everyone together and celebrate. If you’re looking for a place where the kids are happy, the adults are entertained, and you can actually enjoy the celebration without worrying about all the details, Dave & Buster’s Hollywood is it! We keep coming back for a reason. Highly recommend! 🎉🎂
