- PTPaul ThomasMay 11, 20263.0Coral Tree Cafe in Brentwood is a really pleasant space with lots of indoor and nice outdoor seating. Some of the food is okay but it seems every time I eat there the food is worse. It is a great place to sit and talk or work but the food continues to go downhill, eg, the chicken panini I had today was really quite gross. I like the place but you have to find what’s decent to eat and stick to that. Come on, management, you know you're cutting too many corners.

It’s not a full service restaurant instead you order at the counter, they give you a number, and then they drop the food off to you. Think more of a café. Parking is also tricky in this area so it’s either valet parking for $6 or metered street parking which can be hard to find. Inside is very large and can host many different size groups. They also have an outdoor eating area. For breakfast, I chose Eggs Benedict and added avocado and really enjoyed it. The eggs were cooked perfectly and everything about it was really good. I would highly recommend this place for a quick casual option and plan to stop in again in the near future.

I tried the pancakes—they smelled amazing and had a great texture, but the taste fell flat; they had no flavor, which was a real bummer given how good they smelled. The tuna sandwich was okay, but it tasted strongly of lemon, almost like eating a ceviche sandwich.

- MAMichael AzarianMar 9, 20261.0Wow the chicken here is probably the worst I have ever had in my life. Dry, hard rocks. I got a Southwest chicken salad...didn't even come with all the ingredients listed on the menu. Apparently they said they precook their chicken and microwave it when needed.
