  Alfred Coffee is one of those iconic LA coffee shops that actually lives up to the hype. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and well prepared, and there were plenty of drink options to choose from. Whether you like classic espresso drinks or something a little more creative, there’s usually something for everyone. I also really liked the atmosphere. The café has a stylish but relaxed vibe that makes it a great place to grab a drink, meet friends, or simply take a break during the day. The pastries and snacks looked tempting as well. Overall, it’s a great combination of good coffee, friendly service, and a classic Los Angeles café experience. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

  me and my bestfriend have been here a few times already, anything you order from food pastry or drinks is so good and so clean, they also so friendly, the vibe is really great even if u wanna sat and chill for a bit

  While there’s solid competition when it comes to finding great coffee on Sunset in Silverlake, Alfred manages to more than hold its own thanks to its outstanding staff. As a neighborhood local of over 10 years, I walk further to come here because of the consistent quality of the drinks and food - which improved dramatically with a staff overhaul and store remodel 3-4 years ago. The difference between the old days and now has been night and day. Sabino and the rest of the current team at this store consistently make an effort to be personable and sincere, remember our names, my order and my wife’s order, and are careful to remind each other of our preferred modifications such as milk preference. Drink quality and speed are important factors of any coffee shop, but it’s this kind of above-and-beyond service that makes the former qualities possible because there’s a genuine desire to make a personal connection with the customers they serve. When the store is slammed during a rush they make an effort to keep people in the loop, I never see anyone left hanging. If you’re in Silverlake, come through for an excellent drink (or bacon burrito) and stay for the excellent vibe cultivated by this iconic, all-star team.

  1sr cold foam vegan coffee I have ever had that taste better than Dairy. The vegan cloud cream and sugar free vanilla syrup are amazing. Kelly took wonderful care of me.
