  LOVE this location and so bummed to see the low reviews especially when I come almost every day and there is definitely a good amount of seating and it says no cash on the screen right when you walk up to the register! No reason to hate on this amazing spot, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, this is one of the only places I’ll get a matcha because of how yummy they make it and the music here is mood brightening always. One of the only Alfred that has free validated parking too and a huge lot underground if there’s none up top. Probably the most convenient Alfred for me and also the one I’m closest to the team! 💘 love seeing their smiling faces almost daily

  I have gone to Alfred’s for a few years (not this location). I always get the same order but it’s not super intuitive to request on the app if I want to order ahead. I guess my selection and comment did not translate well because I selected honey and lite syrup and clarified in the comment that I didn’t want syrup like simple syrup or lavender syrup. When I pick up my drink the barista starts arguing with me that I didn’t do the order right and it was confusing (because I didn’t know that honey was considered a syrup). Instead of listening to my intention and trying to problem solve, I was talked down to like I did something super wrong. It wasn’t even busy at the time as I was the only customer there so it’s not like they had other orders to tend to. At the end of the day, I received a side pump of lite honey to add myself. Why that couldn’t have been the first resolution instead of chastising me for being wrong, I don’t know. I’ll be sure to not order from this location again.
