To the Owners and Management of AC Barbecue, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my experience at your Century City location on May 15, 2026. Unfortunately, both the food quality and customer service were unacceptable. When I arrived, there was only one young woman working at the front counter, and she was clearly overwhelmed trying to juggle multiple responsibilities at once. While I want to acknowledge that she appeared to be doing her best under difficult circumstances, the larger issue was that several other employees were present but chose to walk away rather than assist her or acknowledge the growing line of customers forming behind me and my friend. Watching customers stand there ignored while staff avoided helping created a very unprofessional atmosphere. To make matters worse, the food itself was extremely disappointing. I ordered banana pudding and fries, and both were a complete waste of my time and money. The quality did not meet even basic expectations, especially considering the prices being charged. What should have been a quick and enjoyable visit turned into a frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor management, lack of teamwork among staff, and subpar food quality reflect badly on the establishment as a whole. I strongly encourage ownership and management to take a serious look at staffing, customer service standards, and food quality control. No customer should leave feeling ignored, frustrated, and regretful for spending their money at your restaurant. At this point, I cannot recommend AC Barbecue to others and would personally advise people to avoid eating here unless major improvements are made.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AC BBQ did not come to play. We had the St. Louis rib sandwich, baked beans, brown butter lemon pepper wings, fries, and sweet tea. Everything hit! The food was so good. I forgot I was at the mall and started looking for somebody’s backyard. 😂 10/10. Bring an appetite and stretchy pants. FYI: Located in the food court (behind Shake Shack) with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating.

Awful. It was one and done for me. I was really disappointed. And I absolutely love Anthony and Cedi. LA native so I wanted to support. Not again.

This place just isn’t it. The burnt ends were very dry and barely had any flavor. The mac and cheese topped with burnt ends doesn’t work—the textures and flavors don’t come together. I’d rather have the mac and cheese on its own. The wings were a bit rubbery, and the flavor was just average. The banana pudding was also disappointing; it needed more layers, especially Nilla wafers, to feel complete. We spent $60 and it wasn’t worth it at all.
