- SLSister Lisa LagunaAug 29, 20263.0It was a tough day today at Andronico’s. Experience at the Deli was actually pretty good. However, checking out was horrible. We used two $50 gift cards. There was a balance of $4 and change. We asked the cashier to cash the card out. He refused. A second cashier literally laughed at us and implied we were trying to pull a fast one. We told them it was actually the law for retailers to cash out a card if the balance was below $10 (actually the threshold was raised to $15 in April 2026). They just laughed at us. So disrespectful. Staff should know the law and know how to follow up if they don’t know what to do. They really should t be laughing at customers. Really disappointed. Updated: CA SB-22 is the State Bill that sets a threshold for cashing out gift cards below a certain amount.

- VMVeronica MacriJul 18, 20261.0Upscale grocery market? Not since Safeway took over. Now you pay more for basic items with low quality. The princess cake was terrible and shouldn’t be called that. It had no custard and only a little bit of jam. The whole cake was filled with gross cool whip. Never again. I wish Safeway never took over because quality has gone down.
