Well, first, after reading some reviews, everyone thinks “Chicago Pizza,” is deep dish. It is not, and if you’re from Chicago, you’ll know this. Deep dish was a marketing ploy to create something, and it worked because that’s what most people think. The REAL Chicago pizza is thin-crust, so-called “tavern style.”. This place has it, so I thought I’d give it a try. It was excellent, thoroughly enjoyable, very cheesy, and the crust, although a bit TOO chewy and doughy was really good. So why the two stars? The service was excellent, but when I paid, they just showed me the total. It seemed very high, so I paid, left a 20% tip, and asked for the receipt to be printed. When it was, I found a TWENTY PERCENT tip was ALREADY included. And I tipped ON TOP of that. They should make it CLEAR that the tip is going to be included. Maybe they have it hidden on the back of the menu or something to cover their collective asses, but because of policies like this, I won’t be returning.
