The customer service here is extremely disappointing. I've been coming here almost every weekend for the past five months and usually spend around $60–70 a month. My favorite breakfast has always been the bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel with avocado (extra charge), which costs about $10. I kept coming back because the food was consistently good.
Today, when I picked up my usual order, I noticed they had switched from the usual large paper bag to a much smaller one. They had also started cutting my bagel in half, which they had never done before. The problem was that they didn't cut through the paper wrapper underneath, so when I pulled the bagel out of the bag, the wrapper held the other half in place. The second half slipped out and fell onto the ground, making it inedible.
I brought it back inside and explained what happened. I felt partially responsible since I hadn't noticed the changes, so instead of asking for a replacement or a full refund, I suggested they simply give me an iced Vietnamese coffee (about $5), roughly the value of the half of the bagel I had lost.
The cashier went to speak with the manager, who was working in the kitchen cooking. He came out and told me that dropping the bagel "wasn't their fault." They refused the coffee and instead offered me two donuts. I declined because I didn't want the extra sugar and even suggested two bananas instead, just to show I wasn't trying to take advantage of the situation.
What disappointed me wasn't losing half a bagel—it was how they handled the situation. Their changes to both the packaging and the way they prepared the bagel directly contributed to what happened. A simple apology or a small gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. Instead, I was told it wasn't their responsibility.
For a business where I've been a loyal customer for months, I expected much better customer service. The food may still be good, but the lack of empathy and unwillingness to make things right left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Great food but it might take an hour to get a breakfast burrito and for some reason they choose not to mention that when you order
